This is a perfect example of "journalistic integrity." These commie bastards can always rationalize why they won't report something they know about a friend, e.g., Willie, Castro, Saddam, or Sharpton, but will fall over one another reporting nothing about a conservative or Republican.
This is a guy and organization that should get their credentials pulled. He's telling us that he didn't report facts because he feared the damage that would result. Perfect mafia extortion logic. Yet, we are supposed to accept journalistic ethics and objectivity as real things.

"Oh Yeah, and they call George Bush Hitler!"The first time I hear of our President putting someone through a shredder feet first ('so they'll be conscious'), I'll consider him a Hitler. Until then...
The thing is, currently "Hitler" is one of the most evil names in our vocabulary. Comparisons are used willy-nilly, mostly for effect, but the truth of the matter is, when the dust settles in Iraq, we might find that in terms of the sheer horror of what the Hussein regime has done, he might surpass Hitler. Perhaps in body counts, too--but we might never know the full extent of that.

One thing that can be done to CNN is complaining to airports which use CNN as their primary news feed: use another station that doesn't have innocent Iraqi blood on its hands. Practically all airports use CNN that I know of.

I have to wonder if this will be the downfall of CNN.........................were they more concerned about their own hides than reporting the truth?
'Twould seem so.

This OP-ED piece is just illustrative of the moral relativism that is the left.

Ah... Yet another fine bit of journalistic censorship by the Communist New Network...
Don't you just LOVE IT !!!!
What I want to know is when they will start "Bahgdad Bob" and Pete "Traitor" Arnett as co-anchors...

I'm wondering if Eason Jordan didn't just open up himself and CNN to big lawsuits.
Jordon admitted that he and CNN knew that any Iraqi they hired was automatically at risk. But CNN still hired them and then they covered up their deaths.
Did CNN inform these Iraqis of the danger that their employment by CNN would put them in?
I'd really like to know the answer to that question

I listened to most of Rush's show today and it was terrific.
But I do not remember Rush mentioning long-time CNN anchor Peter Arnett. Surely Arnett KNEW. And yet, look at his behavior and his words over the past 12 years, even so far as to chatting up the Saddam regime on Iraqi television just a couple of weeks ago!
I think that Jordan's article changes the way people like Arnett should be viewed. He can no longer be seen as merely a liberal goofball. His actions and words must now be seen as duplicitous and treacherous.

I think Jordan "came clean" with his piece in the NY Times because he got a heads-up that the jig was up and that he and CNN were going to be exposed for their duplicity and underhandedness. I believe his op-ed piece was a preemptive strike with its purpose being damage control.
Keep your eyes wide open. There is more to come.

Good point on Arnette. Say... maybe those who advertise on CNN should hear from Freepers. Now, who advertises on CNN? I wouldn't know, I never watch them! LOL!

I think Jordan is about to lose his job and CNN is toast as anthing more than the Onion news network.
