The Nobel Prize has gone to inept former presidents, dictators, scum and more scum. It used to be an honorable prize and many honorees were indeed honorable, in the past. Now, to propose our President receive one would be tantamount to aligning him with the likes of Carter. YUK!

The idiots on the Nobel committee would sooner give the Peace Prize to Saddam, Hitler or Tojo.

Um, there may well be a Norwegian Nobel Comittee, but isn't the Nobel Prize Swedish?

FWIW Illinois's notorious ex governor, 'lyin', soon to be indicted Ryan, has been nominated for the NPP. This alone is an insult to all previous NPP nominees and awardees. For no other reason than this one, I would decline nominating GWB for the NPP. The NPP is a joke anyway. PLO terrorist Yassar Arafat was awarded the NPP. Does anyone need to say any more about this award ? The NPP has become a tool for PC and is a leftist farce. A national letters to the editor campaign, conducted at the appropriate time in support of GWB for re-election, would be a better use of our time and energy. Good luck... I know you meant well.

The Nobel Peace Prize is like the Oscar -- a hollow, meaningless pat on the back from adoring fellow socialists. W has a far better reward than any prize human beings can give: a crown in Heaven that will never be tarnished.

Why can't he just send the 3ID down to Jimmy's house and take his? At least someone would have it that deserves it.
Nobel Peace Prize, another casuality of Iraq.

I just said this the other day...
If Clinton would have chosen the path Dubya did, (as opposed to wasting 4 days worth of million dollar munitions and then folding his tent when the Saddam tossed the inspectors out) the all the kudos Dubya is getting now would have been his.
His "legacy" would be more than just tales of a Presidential BJ, Algor would have won in 2000, and he would have won the Nobel Peace prize for liberating Iraq. He would have been the new Democrat hero. Their front man and hailed as a world class statesman.
Of course, he choose a different path and now he's just plain ole' "X42, king of presidential scandals and insignificant military campaigns."
He has got to be seething with rage right now..

I spotted some live video in Baghdad on Fox the other night and they had found large boxes of "Explosives" clearly labeled, and on the box it said NOBEL.
sorta like this here:
Not that is news, but it is rather contradictory, no?

To expand on you thoughts in post #31, I would suggest writing a letter to ms. clinton.
You could write, "After the Iraqis threw out the inspectors, why didn't you and your husband declare war. If you had done that and the war went like it did, you Ms. Clinton, would probably be the successor to your husband and you would be president now."

But first you have to kill all Norwegian leftie Quisling. Otherwise, it is impossible.
To: Az Joe
While your sentiments are understood, it would be a slap in the face to give our presidenty the same "peace" prize Arafat received.

Bush deserves better. Not to worry, President Bush will not be given a Nobel. Chiraq and Schroeder are shoe-ins to get the Nobel Peace Prize for their "tireless efforts" attempting to save Iraq from the scourge of war. Their success doesn't matter: look at Carter, Arafat, etc... Recall the very liberal nature of the committee... what counts is their "good intentions", not the results.

I personally would be offended if someone wanted to give me the Nobel Peace Prize.
After all, you are judged by the company you keep.
