Crossing George W. Bush is a BAD thing. And he doesn't forget.

I take it all back, well not all, but maybe we should give Putin another chance -- but very cautiously, after teaching him a lesson.

Remember that para. discussing Russia's inexcusable actions, which was upset me the most:

"Moscow also provided Saddam with lists of assassins available for "hits" in the West and details of arms deals to neighbouring countries. The two countries also signed agreements to share intelligence, help each other to "obtain" visas for agents to go to other countries and to exchange information on the activities of Osama bin Laden, the al-Qa'eda leader."

Well, further down they talk about the specific documents, from where they got that information, and I don't know how, but the date didn't click, until now., it was Nov. 27, 2000!!!! BEFORE the "new era of cooperation" between Putin and Bush.

Now of course there were a lot of other things, like those Russia's opposition to the UN resolution, that suspicious Russian convoy, the Russian advisors, night-goggles and so on, so I am not giving Puting a clean bill of health by a long shot, but at least what I considered the worst part, occurred prior to Bush and Putin meetings.

But Russia's intent to take over/control the Middle East oil supplies via Iraq's puppet government is probably true, so I guess Putin is still not to be trusted. But I wanted to set the record straight.

"The list of assassins is referred to in a paper dated November 27, 2000. In it, an agent signing himself "SAB" says that the Russians have passed him a detailed list of killers. The letter does not describe any assignments that the assassins might be given but it indicates just how much Moscow was prepared to share with Baghdad. "

It also shows that Russia KNOWS that Saddam had nukes:

"Another document, dated March 12, 2002, appears to confirm that Saddam had developed, or was developing nuclear weapons. The Russians warned Baghdad that if it refused to comply with the United Nations then that would give the United States "a cause to destroy any nuclear weapons".
