The understanding that homosexual behavior also conditions one to violence and/or mental aberration is also found in ancient traditions in the East. In Taoist medicine and martial arts, it is said that homosexual acts promote mental aggression, imbalance and even psychosis, and also aggravate violent tendencies or induce violence. In Ayurveda (ancient healing art of India) not only is homosexual behavior considered to promote mental and physical illness, but so is any aberrant or excessive sexual behavior. Chastity and monogamy are considered not only necessary for spiritual health but also for physical and mental well being. Basically, the natural order is heterosexual marriage, and the more people deviate from that standard, the worse things get.
