Yes! I want the Muzak to be playing Foreigner's "Rev on the Red Line"

"Hear my motor screamin' while I'm tearin' up the street". I love that song. Cherry Bomb by John Cougar is up there with me as well.

I don't agree with that being Collins played drums for Plant's solo band from '82-85

(I'm a member of the Moody Blues cult myself.)

I may not be a lover of older Moody Blues but I absolutely adore "Long Distance Voyager".

Didja ever notice the little sattelite up in the corner of the album cover?

I think you'd have to put Steely Dan in the list with Yes and Jethro Tull.

It will take forever to figure out what Jim Morrison and The Doors were talking about.

"Dead President's corpse in the driver's car.
The engine runs on glue and tar.
Come on along we're not goin' very far.
To the East to meet the Czar...let's run."

What? That's not clear enough for you?

My high school son freaks everytime one of his favorite songs is played as a "Flashback" tune on the radio.

"That's not old enough to be on "Flashback"! It's not an oldie (yet)!"

The truest of all of the curses put upon man ... you will grow up to be a curmudgeon just like your parents!

I doubt if Rock n Roll will be around when our sun expands to a red giant and engulfs the entire solar system.

You kidding? I envision The Almighty singing "Sun King" as he twitches a finger to initiate the whole process.

Maybe that's what Jim Morrison meant when he sang, "Waiting for the Sun!"

Oh now I see.(rolling eyes)
Their "radio" songs were good stuff. Light My Fire. Love Me Two Times, Etc.
But those 15 to 20 minutes LP songs were way out there.

I was playing portions of "The Song Remains the Same" DVD when this thread was started. Way before music videos, MTV and the like (a shame that the recording technology was so primative then). I had the pleasure of seeing them in 1974 right after "Physical Graffiti" was released. What an amazing experience. I've seen a lot of musicians, bands, and concerts due to travels and being involved in the concert business (before jumping into my true love, nuclear power), but nothing matched Led Zeppelin.

I couldn't agree with you more, "Over the Hills and Far Away" is definitely one of their classics.
