If you're a CNN viewer, they concealed the truth of Hussein's atrocities from you these past 12 years. You could have read about Saddam's brutality in places like Rush's Stack of Saddam Stuff, but for the most part these "anti-war" (when a Republican is in office) liberals are too closed-minded to look there. Yet these same liberals are apoplectic over the looting of artifacts in the Baghdad Museum.

Do you see the hypocrisy? A lot of the people bellyaching about the looting are the very same anti-war people who ignored Saddam's human rights violations. It is amazing! The people who are just aghast and beside themselves - who cannot believe that we are "allowing" this looting - are the same people who wanted us to stand by and do nothing while Saddam gleefully dropped people he didn't like into wood chippers and his sons raped preteen girls.

The anti-war people positioned themselves on the side of all the torture, barbarism, murder, death, destruction and pestilence the Hussein regime sponsored. They express shock and outrage over how "we" would allow this looting, yet they embraced Saddam's looting of the nation's culture and people for 30 years! They did nothing to stop Saddam's atrocities. They were complexly focused on George W. Bush as the sole evil in the world.

Don't you find this a little bit out of proportion? I mean, it's one thing to be concerned about some museum artifacts. I appreciate that, but where is the similar sense of proportion or outrage or concern over the human atrocities perpetrated? I can forgive you if you were kept ignorant as a CNN viewer, but the rest of you are guilty of this lack of proportion in your arguments. You are in quicksand - which is where they said our troops would be if we went to war.

The left is not concerned about the torture, in fact it is rarely mentioned by them IMHO. I am sickened as I have just watched Robbins on Cspan and then was flipping channels and Larry King has Queen Noor on. I am so disgusted right now I could scream. She is very worried about the looting of course. Did she ever mention the torture, no, she was sad when 9/11 happened. She hoped and prayed it would not be Muslims who committed that act. She did not want a rift between our cultures.!!! King asked if she considered herself American and she said something like "I consider myself a citizen of the world. Blah, Blah. She made me sick.

Liberals consider abortion a sacrament, honor perversity, think homosexuals are living saints, believe that guns on their own kill people, think Stalin was a visionary, think that God exists subjectively ("I am God"), think that free speech means that the worst pornography is protected while criticizing them is sinful. Of course artifacts are more important to them than regular facts.

Amen. Isiah's description fits the Left perfectly. What kind of people applaud corrupt, unrighteous men and condemn good, righteous men? Abhor truth, and love and spread lies? Champion every manner of depravity and ridicule all forms of morality? Excuse the guilty and accuse the innocent? It's obvious to anyone who has eyes to see that those whom the Bible identifies as tares have gravitated to the left side of the political spectrum.

Just like last night where I really cannot stand Queen Noor(Miss Halaby) of Jordan. She was all ho-hum, like so what! about Saddam Hussein's regime and the brutality at human cost and all up in arms about the looting and with things not being in order yet. Yet no concern about the torture, stealing from the Iraqi people for the Hussein family and their henchmen's palaces and such. Just like with 9/11, it was all concern about Muslims being targeted and looked at as terrorists than with concern about the people she and people like her seem to really not get outraged over, but going to war with regimes like the one toppled in Iraq!! Like there wasn't enough suffering. Those people are despicable and show their true colors because they obviously have no moral clarity and are disingenuous.
