'Twas a blessed Celebration Weekend - both here on
FR's Finest... and here on the old homestead.
Our Creator has been glorified for His Gift of eternal life through His Son and Our Savior this weekend. That Gift is not just a one day a year thing, it's an everyday gift He has given. Let everyday be Easter in our hearts and in our everyday walk.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow,
Praise Him all creatures here below,
Praise Him above ye heavenly hosts,
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
Amen

will miss new friends this next week when my wife and i leave easter monday for nova scotia for a week.
please pray for my mother-in-law who is dealing with extreme stage of cancer. she is one beautiful woman--organist and choir director in the village church.
and she was at her organ bench this a.m. to play for the worship!! the congregation presented her with a huge bouquet of flowers and large basket of fruit and so forth and so forth. . .for today is not only easter but her 88th birthday.
thanks for your intercessions.

The church I attend does not sing this wonderful song very often. Thanks Diver Dave for putting it down here, and in my head through memories. And Happy Easter

It will be our privilege to lift up this beautiful mother of Priscilla's; and you two.
What a wonderful person she must be!
Heavenly Father, we ask that You send the Holy Spirit to be with these dear persons and all concerned in this difficult stage of their respective walks.
Envelop them in Your loving arms and give them rest and peace, confident in Your Blessed Assurance.
In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Amen.

((((((dutchess)))))) Hope you had a wonderful Easter!!
The kids have been here TWICE, and both times we were so rushed and things were so hectic we didn't get on the computer.
I had even told them about this post..and they both wanted to see it.
So, hopefully we can do a little belated surfing this next weekend when they come to stay the night again.
God Bless you.. Vets

Forgive me for not seeing your post until this late hour, Grant, just getting around to signing on to Free Republic.
This morning I had a physical therapy appointment and shopping to do, and then was finishing a collaboration with jwfiv for a thread we are doing for Billie.
The three of you, and all concerned, have been in my prayers and will remain there. I understood her appointed time is drawing near, ask that her pain be removed from her, and that she will step with joy into Eternal Light - - -
How comforting it must be for her to have you present to hold her hand!
I last saw my own mother when I was 27, and my parents put me on a plane with my two sons to join my husband in South Dakota. I had a baby girl there the next year, and then we were sent to Fairbanks, Alaska, so there was no way to get home to Florida and up there. She passed away when I was 31, never having heard her voice again - had just the frequent letters we exchanged. My father joind her when I was 42.
Blessings to all of you,
