I go to the riverwalk every 3-4 months. It makes me proud to see our military in uniform instead of all the chongs. SA needs to do something about this. If someone can go to jail for teasing a police dog them anyone assulting our military ought to be arrested. This military policy is so wrong though. If they cower and hid then the enemy has succeeded. The soldiers need to continue to wear their uniforms and stand proudly. I think I'll skip the riverwalk next month when I go to San Marcus to shop.

The DoD posted a warning a couple of weeks ago siting a case where a dependent wife of a military man inadvertently drove through an intersection where a "peace protest" was being held. When they noticed her DoD sticker on the car they beat on the car with fists and signs and scratched the paint with keys.

Agree, Bro...here is a case where that entire base should stand up and be counted and defy this illegal and unlawful order! IN fact, these troops ahould form up in Class A uniforms and march enmass into town and down the Riverwalk!

Any commander who isues this sort of disdraceful instruction should be relieved of duty and dismissed from service without pay or benefits...it makes my 27 years of service and two Purple Hearts mere folly.
