The DA office suspects that 150 moslims in the Netherlands followed a divingcourse. These persons are possibly connected to the jihad, the holy war against enemies of islam.

Threat

Spokesman De Bruin of the national prosecuters office of the DA said that the case is investigated at this moment. Earlier foreign minister Remkes wrote a letter to the Tweede Kamer (highest Dutch government body) that the threat of islamic terroristic attacks does not decrease.

Recent developments indicate that there is a lot happening in the Netherlands in the area of fighting terrorism. Thursday 12 man were indicted in the court in Rotterdam for their alleged involvement of terrorism. Police suspect them of trying to recruit and train jihadwarriors. In this investigation the divingcourses emerged.

Attack

Remkes pointed out in his letter that there are probebly 100 to 200 persons active in terrorist organizations. What the purpose of the divingcourses that terrorists took is, is not known. Probebly the terrorists are planning an attack on a boat.

Flying lessons

The simularities with the mosilm terrorists that took flying lessons, is appaerent. After the September 11 attacks in the US, it became appaerent that a high number of active and non-active terrorists took flying lessons or enlist for them. They did this with the purpose to use these skills in new terroristic attacks.

Probebly the terrorists are planning an attack on a boat.

Or port facilities, off-shore oil rigs, locks, dams, bridges.....

Very unsettling.

I have the feeling that, they'd think twice now before doing something like that.
