Isn't that U.S. figure of 208 for suspected cases under the old parameters? Is it really true that none of them has recovered?

This story reports an apparent recovery: In N.Va., A Perilous Medical Journey Training and Luck Helped Stop Virus . And it sounds as if this victim, like the man in Goa, was not contagious.

The US is reporting 38 probable, but WHO is still carrying the 208 number, as of yesterday. If we use the US figure, and put in today's Hong Kong figures, the death rate worldwide is 5.5%, at this time.

So, if you only look at the numbers of those who either died or got well, the death rate is much higher? Are the cases of those still sick diluting the percent of death rate?
