I never ceased to be amazed that some on board here are so close-minded. Dr. Morales just spoke to me for an hour , telling me he plans to do a big clinical study in Africa on AIDS. He can show documented cases of Hepatitis, AIDS being cured with no more signs of virus. He has been in several countries treating AIDS & other patients. The American medical establishments don't care for anything that might jeopardize the Hospital-pharmaceutical industry. If there really is a "cure', who would need to stay in hospitals & take expensive drugs? Do you know that Loraine Day, M.D., who recovered totally from a bad case of breast cancer , using alternative therapy, was a skeptic like you? She didn't want to go thru Chemo therapy, losing her hair... Her initial attitude was "if there is a real cure for cancer, I would have known by now. !" She was forced to research outside U.C. San Francisco & she was astonished at rhe wealth & amount of research & successes on cancers OUTSIDE the medical establishment. She tried it & it worked! She became a leading lecturer in America! Some of you think Ameica must have the Best health care system in the world & are blind to the Statistics on the rampant chroni or deadly diseases in America- cancers, AIDS, arthritis, heart diseases... Our system is broke! The foundation has shifted long ago. Alright, some of you , go back to sleep. If , God forbid, you should come down with cancer, heart attack, see how much your sacred cow of Allopathic medicine will do for you.

dinodino, I just talked to one of the leading researchers, E. Barnett, actually there are some articles published by perr reviewed journals. Will you go library & read them & then be honest to say,"Now I believe it"?

Here are several authoritative sources showing that Photo-therapy is nothing new & is getting mainstream. 1. Did you know that Dr. Niels Ryberg Finsen actually won The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine back in 1903?

"in recognition of his contribution to the treatment of diseases, especially lupus vulgaris, with concentrated light radiation, whereby he has opened a new avenue for medical science" Here is the link: http://www.nobel.se/medicine/laureates/1903/

2. The respected, peer reviewed Journal Scientific America in Jan. 2003 has a great article on Photo-dynamic Therapy (one of several protocols used by Dr. Morales & Barnett). It says,"PhotoDynamic Therapy is a good thing to use on cancers..." One difference is Morales uses more effective, economical substances than the expensive American drugs used in the clinical study. They can get it published BECAUSE they uses drugs & has the backing of a drug comapny! Pure & simple! Also Morales & Barnett has much more advanced protocol & results.

3. Dr. Edelson at Yale University school of Medicine uses a similar but inferior method called Photo-pheresis on cancers. He had success!

4. INTO THE LIGHT" by William Campbell Douglass, MD. I subscribed his newleter Second Opinion back then & I heard he moved from Florida to overseas. This is a great book for those seriously interested in Light Therapy.

5. Photoluminescent Therapy (UBI, UVBI) by Ron Kennedy, M.D. Photoluminescent therapy, also known as UBI, UVBI, (for ultraviolent blood irradiation) is thought of as a new treatment. However, it was first developed in the 1930s as a treatment for the polio virus.and other viral and bacterial infections.

6. Alternative Medicine - The definitive guide(compilation of 380 leading doctors globally)- pages 324 on had a section on these therapies. Hope this helps in our ongoing dialogue. I am learning something new daily. There is still so much in medicine I do not know. Let us keep an open mind. We are are striving to know the truth.

Thanks, Watchman, but I actually read that article in SciAm back in January. The article described photo-activation of drugs delivered via conventional means. Not the same thing as light therapy.

You should also disqualify any medical articles more than a century old, don't you think?

Thank you for posting the information, though. It's obvious that you feel passionately about this, and I'll certainly evaluate any related material I come across with an open mind.

Peer reviewed journals? You'll probably get replies identical to the Creationists arguments which claim that all journals are in a Great Conspiracy to prevent the TRVTH from being published.

I agree on not relying any article a century old, but the Nobel winner a century ago was to illustrate simply that phototherapy research went back a lONG way. The Scietific America's protocol there used photo-sensitive drugs to get into cancer cells, then releasing oxygen molecule to kill it. There are similar principle involved. Dr. Morales uses natural substance instead of drugs. Appreciate you keeping an open mind.

I did not have time nor desire to get into Laetril. Back then , Laetril was a better known alternative adjunct for cancer, now we have a lot better 7 stronger, Hi-tech supplements & protocol. Even back then, not all got well was Laetril, but my point was that Laetril does have some scietific basis & success on some cancers, but ACS or sloan Kettering hostpital wwere not interested. Do you know that according to Lorraine Day, M.D., on the charter of American Cancer Society, it reads that the day it finds a cancer cure, it would close its door. Do you know ACS has grown into a giagantic fundraising organization, hiring guess how many employees. You honestly think they want a Cure to be found or approved? it would mean unemployment for all of them ! I don't think you know enough about alternative treatment for any illness to be doing a credible critique. Scoff you may & you have a right to, but give me credible evidence that for example "proven" treatments like Chemotherapy works well. I will give you a ton of credible quotes from credible studiers & Drs. who would refute that. Bye for now.

No, You must have gotten the name wrong. I heard there was a microbiologist or somebody talking about SARS.

By the way, for those interested , I post here some great findings on the dismal record of 'proven" chemotherapy. Dr. Abel's is the biostatistian at the famous Tumor Institure of Germany,(name escaped me. I can get it). He reviews the world's studies on the efficasy of chemotherapy 7 compiled the results as follows. His [conclusion] regarding some cancers commonly treated with chemotherapy:

You are right about this clinic in Tijuana. I went to visit it in the early 80's. It's amazing how much those little poor clinics (compared to the big, American hospitals)could accomplish with so little. Thousands flock to those dozen or so clinics & almost all feel better. i have referred some patients down there & everyone told me they felt stronger in days, at least within 1-3 weeks. most were already given up for dead by American conventional doctors. That tells you something! They are on the right track. They focus on boosting the immune system , detoxification...Imagine if they had gone there before they tried Chemo, radiation? Hundreds have had remissions down through the years from so called "incurable cases." I now believe Dr. Morales Clinic in mexico is probably one of the top 3 in mexico or even in Western Hemisphere.

here is how to locate a Dr. who does photo-Therapy near you. You will see physicians in many states & countries of the world at http://www.fflt.org. Many practicioners have the Yumatron machine , which works but remember the New PT 10 or similar newer machines are 6 times more powerful with 90 watts of light! So ask what machine they use. Photo-therapy is indeed the medicine of the future. It is:

Photo therapy a success in Mayo Clinic's esophageal cancer study

Gastroenterologists at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Fla., report photodynamic therapy (PDT) appears to destroy the abnormal tissue of Barrett's esophagus as well as superficial esophageal cancer. Here's how PDT works. Patients are given an injection of a photosensitizing drug called porfimer sodium (Photofrin). Cells in the body absorb this drug. Normal cells get rid of it, but the drug tends to collect in premalignant and malignant cells. Two days after the injection of Photofrin, physicians insert and endoscope into the sedated patient's esophagus. An endoscope is a thin, flexible tube with a miniature camera on its tip. Physicians deliver a specific wavelength of red laser light through the endoscope to the targeted cells. The laser light destroys the Photofrin-containing cells. Normal esophageal cells grow back in their place.

Now Morales told me he uses natural dye & I think Chlorophyll instead of drugs, but you see more doctors are picking this up as valid, scietific treatment. Morales told me his protocal is much better & stronger rhan Mayo's. He is a meek, dedicated doctor. I don't feel he was bragging to me

History is a funny thing. It seems that almost every advance in medicine was intitially met with skepticism.
Nothing has changed.
