No, they should get no paying roles at all, not even terrorists or sympathizers. They should not get even one red cent from anything relating to 9/11.

This is sick - to allow those two to play 911 heros just goes beyond words - how low can MGM stoop!

Hey MGM, check Sunday nights rating for Susan. America has had enough of these two Commies. Their day in the spot light is over.

After MGM sees the overnights on Sarandon's TV movie yesterday, she'll be out like last month's milk.

There is a market for leftist propaganda products. Moore acts up because there is a group of people who want to pay money (see captialism) for Moore's maxist pablum. Its his audience. Mr and MZ. Sarandon are probable part of that left wing marketing. Imagine communists with money. I bet none of them drives a ford fiesta.

The film will star Tim Robbins as Mohammed Atta and Susan Sarandon as the stewardess whose throat he slices open with a box cutter...

I never watch such tripe, but I just happened to look in the tv listing of the newspapers yesterday. I noticed that Popeyes Sarandon was on twice last night -- the Icebound movie and Bull Durham.

I am convinced that Sarandon and Mr. Popeyes are working very hard to best Martin Sheen in the al-Asqhole Martyrs Brigade of Those Who Are (claiming to be) Blacklisted. After they have documented enough ink against them, they will make a film about their victimization. I vote we ignore them now.

Hollywood is just watching out for their own. I would not doubt for a minute that the Mr and Mrs. Sarandon would be willing to help bank roll this to try to get thier careers back in line. Look at Jane Fonda, a much bigger traitor then these two ever were; she may be hated, but she still made lots of money on movies afterward. Nope, Hollywood is corrupt to the core; the only solution is to BOYCOTT anything they are associated with. MGM might not give a s*it, but some of the sponsors sure will.

Rick Rescorla was prominent in the book "We were Soldiers Once...and Young" and was on the cover. It was the book that the Mel Gibson movie We Were Soldiers was based on. Rescorla was a true hero in the Towers and saved a huge number of people. It is a terrible thing to have Sarandon and Robbins in this movie.

The "Ice" movie didn't do very well last night. The doctor that the movie was based on said that Sarandon did not play her correctly at all. The doctor said, "That is not me."

This has to be a hoax. I simply can't believe that such an idea would get by the first desk in the MGM comptroller's office. But, if I'm wrong and it's not bogus, please verify and the next e-mail I send out will go straight to MGM. And, if it's true, yes I'll pledge to boycott the film and anything else MGM puts out for the twelve months following.

I had heard awhile back that Ms. Sarandon had approached Susan Greer early on about making a movie about her late husband, Rick Rescorla. Sarandon jumped right at the opportunity to make a buck off of a genuine, and PATRIOTIC hero.

This is a tragedy on several fronts, as far as I am concerned. First and foremost, the life led by Rick Rescorla is what legends are made of. He was a staunch anti-communist and came to the United States from England in order to join the Army and fight in Vietnam against communism! In so doing, he became a legend in his company and the military, and a hero of the battle of Ia Drang. His picture is on the front of the book, "We Were Soldiers." And, he died as a hero in one of the towers on 9-11. Most Freepers know this already, but the general public needs to be made more aware of this.

For Ms. Sarandon to approach his widow (much as a vulture would do) right after this tragedy is disgraceful. The opportunistic motive of the Sarandon/Robbins duo is strictly $$.....and it is to be made off of the life of this selfless and patriotic hero. In no way should these people have anything to do with the telling of Rick Rescorla's life-story. Prerhaps his widow (of only a couple of years) was lured by the the income she would make, but she should have been more aware of exactly who would be "tellng the story" of her late husband's life. Perhaps his previous wife and children should have been consulted by this.

Rick Rescorla's story would make a wonderful movie, but this movie should not be produced by people whose actions represent the exact opposite of what Rick Rescorla believed in and stood for. Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins are not fit to wipe his boots, much less to be the ones who interpret his life, his selflessness, and his sacrifice to this country.
