URS Corp., a San Francisco planning and engineering firm partially owned by California Sen. Dianne Feinstein's husband, landed an Army contract Monday worth up to $600 million.

The award to help with troop mobilization, weapons systems training and anti-terrorism efforts is the latest in a string of plum defense jobs snared by URS. In February, the firm won an army engineering and logistics contract that could bring in $3.1 billion during the next eight years.

"Did Di Fi give Dick Cheney grief for profitting from the war, though his ties with Halliburton"

Not only that, she took to the Senate well and called for Sec. of the Army Thomas White to resign because he'd been an exec with Enron! (I'm shocked, SHOCKED!) Even though the department Sec. White's overseeing didn't have anything to do with the part of Enron that was involved with the scandal.

Why should our tax dollars be siphoned by the democrats into the pockets of the enemies of America?

The bigger question should be:

Why should ANY elected official OR their spouses be allowed to participate in ANY government contracts?

I think this Halliburton deal is blown out of proportion. I guess the Dem's can always count on people not doing their homework. I worked for a company who did outsourcing for Halliburton. Halliburton is the best in the world at what they do.

Rush was saying the other day, there aren't that many companies who do what Halliburton does. He named another company who did this line of work and it was a French company. LOL They won't be getting the contract.

Great cartoon. I HATE hypocrites and she is the queen!!! Did you know that Ms. Disarm America had (still has?) a CCW. When questioned about it, she asserted HER right to protect herself! And people still vote for this crud. . .

Interesting. Thanks for the information. The double standards are amazing, especially when they get away with it.

Follow the smell of cooking rice back to PRC. Blum is tight with PLA/PRC. Looks like the technology being developed here would certainly be of interest to PRC companies. Who's to control the leaks that are sure to happen? This is a major concern. Who vets the staff of these companies? Look for a continuing round of intrique.

Actually, it is the calendar that is keeping Feinstein out of a presidential bid. Isn't she already as old as Reagan was in 1980?

...Mr. Blum also serves as a director of URS Corporation, Glenborough Realty Trust, Inc., CB Richard Ellis Services, Inc., Playtex Products, Inc. and Shaklee Corporation. Mr. Blum is also co-chairman of Newbridge Capital.

Playtex? This man clearly has blood on his hands.

Feinstein was born in 1933. She is already one year older than Reagan was when he ran for president in 1980. And she is still a year younger than one of her idols, EMK.

Her husband's business contacts and dealings is the reason she will never seek higher office.

In that case, the contract is worth every penny. :-)

NEVER FORGET

...When news got out about we Citizen-Activists' Battle to Save our U.S. Long Beach Navy Base from being turned over to the Communist Chinese by First Lady HILLARY RODHAM for China Army Money...

...Senators FEINSTEIN & BOXER immediately announced that they were returning $10,000 that the Communist China Army gave them both.

...Then, per JAMES RIADY in U.S. Federal Court, that China Army Money was NEVER returned to him.

NEVER FORGET

PAGING HENRY WAXNOSE, PAGING HENRY WAXNOSE!!!!!

We need another Halliburton-style congressional investigation!!!!

........What????? Oh yeah, that's right: Henry Waxnose only investigates "secrecy" and "collusion" when there's Republicans involved.
