No South Korean cases at all, which is interesting.

How in the world has the disease spread all over the world while skipping South Korea, and almost skipping Japan?

Chance, genetics, or lifestyle?

I remember when AIDS first surfaced. The factors there were HHH -- Homosexual, Haitian, or Heroin user. Now there is Heterosexual AIDS in Africa, but some say it is still lifestyle-related, that men in Africa prefer sex with women who are not lubricated, and that dry friction causes little tears in the skin of the genitalia.

Bin Laden and his henchmen have as much chance of bioengineering a virus as a class of sixth graders have of putting a man on the moon.

Have you tracked his henchmen in the biotech industries around the world?

It does sound like a lifestyle difference and there is a reason animals of prey shouldn't be eaten.

Do you have any links for the dead microbiologists? I want to send them to my sister.

That's disgusting. They probably smell really bad about now!

Not necessarily poor hygiene but there can be exposure to animal ---especially dog and cat viruses which don't make us very sick but we might still build up antibodies that would give us some cross-immunity. There could be a lot of factors other than race.

You could be on to something. I keep reminding myself that there have been no SARS deaths in the US (yet). On a similar note, I have read where children with allergies are thought to have houses that are 'too clean', and therefore were not given the opportunity to develop immunites. I make a point to keep a little dog hair on the floor and some dust on the tables... for the children. :)

>Right. Liberal Leftist academics give a crap about American workers.

Well, I think you've touched
on the thing that enrages
everybody now:

It seems nobody
gives a crap about "normal"
Americans. Not

the Left, who just use
the large population to
exploit for taxes.

Not the business Right,
sheep-herding us to global
corporatism.

Robert Frost once wrote:
"Good fences good neighbors make."
The Left and the Right

both want to rip up
everyone's "national" fence --
the Left to create

world socialism,
the Right to create global
corporatism.

The Left wants "comrades,"
the Right wants "employees." Both
regard "citizens"

as yesterday's news,
as difficult-to-manage
"resources." Is it

really a wonder
why everyone is angry
with everyone else?
