Prayer request for my roomate's mother who has brain cancer

My roomate who went home this week and not to come back to college, due to his mother's sickness, has just been told his mother has brain cancer. She is bald. He was able to see her.

They are Jewish.

Please pray for his mother's recovery.

Oh, I'm very sorry. Cancer in any form is hard to accept. My beloved brother was diagnosed in September 1999 with lung cancer and died the following October 1999. My prayers are with your roommate and his mother and family and with you. The impotence of not being able to do anything is so frustrating.
