Did you see the thread where the
Christian Science Monitor discovered papers that suggest George Galloway collected $10 million from Saddam Hussein -- for "services rendered".
Consider: if a Labor party backbencher was worth $10 mill, how much was the President of France worth...???

Yeah, I suspect Saddam's list of political payoffs will be long, but not surprising. Ritter might just show up somewhere. Chirac has had close relations with Saddam since the mid to late 70's, and one can only imagine the foundation$ of such a friendship. What'll be really interesting is seeing if some of our own Dimo-o-wit congresscritters are implicated. Rangel immediately comes to mind.

Well, I do miss the cheese...
But, but if it has to be done, it has to be done. France can't seem to decide which side of the fence they are on.

Neal Boortz had the Danish pizza owner, who won't serve French or German customers, on the radio today. He stated that he is under investigation there for some offense related to his refusing of service. Boortz offered to pay the man's fine, but he refused say that he did not want any money going to the Danish government for prosecuting him. He said he would rather take the jail sentence than have Boortz pay his fine for him.
Also, he related that he had gotten several hundred letters of support from the US. He is expecting to personally answer all of them when he gets the time.

"You know, the French remind me a little bit of an aging actress of the 1940s who was still trying to dine out on her looks but doesn't have the face for it." --John McCain Ouch! That's gotta hurt.

France should be as relevant to the future of the USA as, say, Surinam, Sierra Leone, or Liechstenstein.

Condi: "punish France, ignore Germany and forgive Russia."
Yeah? That's not enough in my opinion.
And Powel sounding tough doesn't resound any hopes for me either. He's been a cream puff too often.

As funny as that picture is...it spells France in my mind and makes my stomach church. No joke! I'm serious.
I'm tired of these @$$e$ avoiding punishment. I do not believe boycotting nor ignoring France, forgiving RED Russia is enough, nor good enough!

Russia also stands the best chance of becoming like the U.S. over time (rejected communism, implemented a flat tax), and the greatest danger of becoming like Western Europe over time. They deserve special attention.

I trust Condi to have a lot more data than we have, and then she would know what to do with it.
If Putrid Vlad changes his behavior and behaves himself for the next 6 years, that would be good for our side.

Excellent points and summary re these three countries.
Time to fillet the frog legs, cook them and give them to the dogs in the street.

And SkyBlue is punishing France by giving them a $4 billion dollar deal.
I take off my hat and salute SkyBlue; with an extended middle finger.
