Wolf Blitzed: But aren't the people of Iraq so much better off now with Saddam Hussein on their back?
Dean: We don't know that yet. We don't know that yet Wolf.
We still have a country whose city is mostly without electricity.
We have tumultous occasions in the south where there is no clear governance.
We have a major city without clear goverance. We don't know yet, and until we do..
Wolf Blitzer interrupts-..(obviously incredulous even for a liberal) You think it is possible--excuse me for interrupting-- that whatever emerges in Iraq could be better than what they have had for decades under Saddam Hussein?

Many Dems think it, but Dean is insane enough to actually say it.

Moral equivalency: temporary loss of electricity and some looting = over a million tortured, maimed and murdered. The moral bankruptcy of the left is a wonder to behold.

Howard Dean is the Jimmy Cartuh of 2004. He's too indecisive to make up his mind about what's happened in Iraq. Are you kidding?? This doofus will NEVER be President.

I would like to see Mr. Dean live under the terror that Saddam meted out, just long enough for him to soil every pair of undershorts he owns. Given his penchant for spouting off his mouth, he probably wouldn't have the opportunity to soil very many.
We would then see which is more important to him, a temporary loss of water and power, or a permanent loss of tongue, eyes, limb or life. He is so totally disgusting!

Could be an interesting GOP TV commercial: show picture after picture of the evidence of Saddam's torture state. Show mutilated men and women. Show dead children lying in the street. Then close with Dean saying Iraq is no better off today than they were under Saddam.
On second thought, you couldn't make that commercial, because US TV stations would not be allowed to show the horrific photos that document what Saddam did to his victims.

Saying this kind of stuff is Dean's only hope. He has to stay fully connected to the bitter anti-war segment of the party. And they are the activists who vote and influence other primary voters out of all proportion to their numbers.
Dean is playing the only hand he has. Sounds crazy but these are Democrats after all.

Leftist can't deal with reality. It's that simple. They'd rather live in the darkness than come to the light because the light exposes them for the wicked and evil creatures that they are.

No, he is not on drugs, he is naturally demented.
That is the current democrat thought process. The democrats will do to us [particularly gun owners and Christians]what Saddam Hussine did to the average Iraqui citizen just as soon as they are able.
They will put us back under the world courta/k/a, the international court. They will also bring every Soldier, Sailor, Airman and woman, and Marine who participated in liberating Iraq before the world court on charges.
Folks, keep in mind that the democrat politicans are totally evil and demented.
