I should have fought back. I should pose naked somewhere. Jonah, in the name of all that is Holy, keep your clothes on.

I'm still waiting for somebody to burn me a Dixie Bricks CD so I can crack it in half.

Well, if there are no risks, where's the courage? Twinkle twinkle, gem of truth
Jonah Goldberg's got no ruth:
he's ruth-less ...uh huh...

That would be rather hilarious now, wouldn't it?
All joking aside, however, Jonah hits the nail right smack on the head about these Hollyweird yahoos wanting to have their cake and eat it, too.

Why is Jonah a yutz? This is a good precis' and rebuttal of the Hollywood conceits. A shudder still passes through me when I recall the off-Broadway enunciation of the bastard-maker Robbins. "A chill wynde..."
Please explain about Jonah.

You must ask ladyinred why she thinks Jonah is a yutz. I think he needs a good editor myself, he tends to wander all over the place before making his points. Good writer, just not very disciplined at times.

This is perhaps the sharpest commentary on the subject I have read! Of course, the illiterate children of Ho-wood will never read it, and they've moved on to the toy tantrum too.

Why don't you just download some MP3's and burn on yourself?

Thanks for the post. Excellent.
Within days of the Twin Towers coming down, journalists who couldn't bring themselves to talk about the real threat to America went with what they knew: the tyranny of right-wing conservatives. "Something is burning this week, but it's not the site of the former World Trade Center," wrote Cynthia Cotts of the Village Voice in September of 2001. "It's what's left of the First Amendment and every self-respecting journalist should sign up for the rescue mission."
Girlfriend, when you meet your maker you got a lot of splaining to do.
