You know, I remember about a month ago; our pastor was telling a bit of this story to us, as part of his homily(sermon). He was talking about Noah, and the flood story in the "Gilgamesh". It was really interesting how he told it. I do wish I could remember just how he told the story.
He was telling us how the word "Satan" came into being, from that part of the world. Apparently, it was once a term applied to a mortal enemy. Then it came to be applied to the devil(or a imortal) enemy. He was saying how many of the people of Iraq and Iran are not Muslim, but Zoroastrian. It was really interesting!

There was a Noah but his name wasn't Noah and he lived before Adam and Eve. He also didn't take any animals onto his ark but seeds only. Read your Sumerian history.

Sounds like you've a good pastor there.
I don't think I would have nodded off during that sermon.

Hannity is far from being well educated.

Where did you get that excerpt? The links at the bottom were bad because they were relative.
BTW, according to a units converter I have here, the walls of the boat as described are 194 feet tall. ... its walls were each 10 times 12 cubits in height, ... 1 SumerianCubit = 1.62 feet
I can't tell how long the thing was supposed to be because the text looks garbled. ...the sides of its top were of equal length, 10 times It cubits each....
