MIDI - ANCHORS AWAY - first version
Oh, what a day my friends...historic day
He's our commander-in-chief
There's no talk of boxers or briefs
He understands his role...what he must do
Lots of bad days for bad guys
Before Dubya's, before Dubya's through
There's respect...respect...it's shining through on each and every face
They all know...they know...this is the right man, the right time and place
Oh, what a day, my friends...historic day
It was a flawless landing
Thank God he's the one commanding
He understands his role...what he must do
Lots of bad days for bad guys
Before Dubya's, before Dubya's through

What is the call when he lands... "Commander-n-Chief Arriving..."? Or do you think they spruced it up a bit??

Larry Elder has a great show going on right now --- www.kabc.com for internet feed. Military and ex-military are telling what a wonder commander if chief Bush is and what a POS Clinton was. This is delicious.

It was a day to be dreaded by the RAT b*stards. They cannot stand that a real commander in chief sits in the Oval Office, goes after terrorists, respects the office, loves his country more than the U.N., and lands on aircraft carriers. They hate it, they hate it, they hate it.

It's slightly less unsingable than the original.

I'm not sure, but I guess I take that as a slightly underwhelming approval.

lol...yes, I'd say you're right there!
I did not see the event live, but I did see pics from the deck. The smile on his face was a sure sign of a good flight in. Though, seeing the "Tooth pic" he is about to land on, and then landing on it, I bet he was a bit "puckered up". I don't care how brave someone is, landing on a carrier for the first time has got to be a bit Scary to say the least.
