SANTORUM THINKS, LIBERAL SPIN STINKS
Nix 2

On April 3, 2003, a liberal hag, married to a Kerry hack, caught Rick Santorum at a Texas airport waiting for a flight for an exclusive *interview*. As you all know quite well by now, the Texas Sodomy Law is facing a challenge in the Supreme Court. Her questions to Santorum were pointed since he is one of the pre-eminent Conservatives and third-ranking Republican in the Senate.
It is also rather well known and has been pointed out that his answers to her agenda-filled questions were switched around to make it seem as if he said something he absolutely did not say, and which the liberal, (read far left,) special interests, especially the Barney Fwanks of the world and our supposedly conservative Log Cabin Republicans, who never gave Santorum the benefit of any doubt, latched on to in shrill terms that would have been funny if it hadn't been so tragic, and so distorted that it remains an issue which is as much a lie now as it was when it was first released long after the original interview was given.
Since this began, I have not seen one Republican on the Hill defend Santorum's position and it looks as though they have left him to twist slowly, slowly in the wind. Could it possibly be that they are clueless as to the entire truth? If they are, shame on them, because the possible impact of this suit is as bad or worse as Roe vs Wade, and for exactly the same reason.
To this absence of understanding or loyalty from his fellow Republicans, I am beyond outrage and into writing editorials to every newspaper outlet and television news outlet, and talk show hosts I can manage, and I have called Republicans in the Senate comparable to penguins who waddle their way into the Senate flapping their flippers hoping for idiot liberals to throw them a fish.
When Rick was accosted in the airport, he announced he was against this suit, not because it might strike down the Sodomy Law, but at HOW the suit was being brought.
It is being challenged as a *Right of Privacy* invasion. There is NO Constitutional provision for the *RIGHT* of privacy. To INSTILL such a right is judicial activism and revisionism at its worst. The last time a *right* was decreed under a right to privacy challenge, it was the right of privacy between a woman and her doctor for whether she was able to have an abortion. NO ONE conceived the ramifications of such a *right* being bestowed on an agenda driven Zero Growth industry, Planned Parenthood, NARAL, NOW, and the Communist driven Left which took that "right" and turned it into MURDER INCORPORATED, made it the absolute RIGHT of women to commit murder by the millions with no recourse to the courts to reverse this heinous act of judicial activism. We find ourselves having qualified judges being castigated, having sterling reputations ruined, goldstar recommendations from the ABA for excellence being ignored, and their appointments being subverted by murderers, liars, lowlifes, and thieves to insure that this right by judicial fiat is NEVER challenged with any chance whatever that things might be set right.
Roe v Wade is extra-constitutional, has no precedence in law, either before or since, and the Texas Sodomy Law, challenged on the same grounds as Roe v Wade, will do the same for the *right* of privacy in your own home which WILL include literally ANYTHING you do within *your home*, including rape, incest, and pedophilia or worse. Taken to its most drastic conclusion, even murder in your own bedroom could be challenged under a *privacy* law which does not and has never existed under the Constitution.
When Rick gave the interview, he made this very plain to the interviewer. Challenge the law within Constitutional framework, but not on the grounds of a right to privacy because the ramifications are too far reaching to contemplate...and don't think for an instant that NAMBLA, or crazy groups who believe that all women REALLY want to be raped, or pedophiles who believe that 9 year old girls really benefit from sick sex won't use this *right* to privacy to avoid being charged for whatever they do in their own homes or bedrooms.
Did you ever visualize in your wildest dreams that millions of murders of the unborn, and now that even the murders of some infants born and unwanted could be slam-dunked into a trash can, and the murderers are charged as if they had no clue between right and wrong, many allowed to go free and others spending minimum time for the heinous murders of defenseless children.
THIS is Rick's dilemma. It is time for Conservatives to either speak up or forever continue begging fish from the communist left that continues to try and subvert our Constitution every day and every way they possibly can.

If you know that Rick was set up, then why didn't he? He put his foot in it and it will linger and it might follow him for the rest of his political life.

He knew, but everytime he tried to explain, it got more and more out of context. The Dems are like pit bulls when they get their teeth in an issue, even a bogus one.

We in the Keystone State know and love Senator Santorum. He has been honest, forthright and very consistant with his conservative stance. He is not likely to back away from his statements (and doesn't need to) and this lame lie the liberals have constructed is painfully transparent to all but the liars themselves.

Further proof that Rick is not ready for the prime time spotlight. But he means well.

We Conservatives need people versed on every issue to jump ugly in lib faces whenever they hit us with this garbage. WHENEVER!!! There is always a spokesperson for some deranged point of view. We need a counterweight armed with some basic truth. We are the backbone of the Pubs, and we should hold their feet to the fire.
Did you see the number of Hispanics KIA in Iraq? We should be blowing the Dems off their podiums for holding Estrada and our Constitution hostage for their own selfish reasons. They aren't above using anything to make their points. Why can't we use the unvarnished truth?

I never miss a chance to educate the uninformed Pennsylvanian. But it can be difficult/frustrating debating a fact-challenged, touchy-feely liberal. Still, it makes me feel good when I leave 'em speechless or refaced angry.

That actually happened to me in a McDonalds parking lot yesterday. I have NRA, Ranger (82nd) Airborne, Santorum, and Bush/Cheney stickers all over the place. I thought this fat cow was going to kill me because she said Bush was a draft dodger but sent young people to war!!!
I tried to be delicate about it and told her she had mixed him up with Clinton......
YOWCH!!!

If Santorum had argued strictly about the legal merits, the interview would never have been published.

But, when he got carried away and started talking about "man-on-child" and "man-on-dog" he stepped in it, big time.

It's obvious Santorum doesn't like gay people, and he let it show in this interview.

I'd bet he wishes he'd never opened his mouth.

Bull! I have no problem with what he said in the context that it was made. It is only the prevaricators of truth, i.e. the socialist/marxist media and congress critters, that are condemning him. Those republicans that don't defend him are in that same league and have always been afraid of their own shadows when it comes to race, gender and sexual matters.

The Republicans' failure to mount a successful defense of Estrada and others, coupled with the RINOs holding hands with Demoncrats to nominate liberal judges (out here in Oregon, Senators Smith and Wyden are holding hands to put yet another government lawyer on the bench), is probably going to do more long-term damage to a free republic than anything else.

And what is most depressing is that a majority of people on this plan still seem to think that the Bush Administration is working to promote a free republic. The Bush Administration has to be pushed, and it is our patriotic duty to do so.

I guess you didn't read thr original transcript before the *journalist* changed it and flat out attributed statements to him he didn't make to enhance her story. Fair and balanced, it was not.

We've been too nice and the Dems have taken it and milked it for all it's worth because we don't go breaking store windows and blowing up police cars.
We REALLY need to make some noise at both Dems and RINOs.
We want our judges AND our Constitution back!!!

Do you see how well Rick was set up by the Dems? They even have us arguing with each other. Rick screwed up and he still hasn't gotten out of the mess after several days.

Did you see how Teddy Kennedy murdered Mary Jo and never paid so much as a fine for it? Dems are wayyyyy different than Pubbies.
Did you know about Barney wunning a male prostitution ring out of his own home and never missed a vote?
Did you know that Leahy was thrown off the National Security Committee for leaking classified material?
Do you know that Billy Jeff is a rapist?
BUT he's a dem and they do spin webs that kill.

I can never figure out why something he said would follow him all of his life. It's so stupid. They're making mountains out of molehills, something politicians and groups like NOW and NARAL just love to do. It's ridiculous.
