Fatah claims responsibility for shooting

By THE JERUSALEM POST INTERNET STAFF

The military wing of Yasser Arafat and Mahmud Abbas' Fatah movement claimed responsibility for the shooting on Monday in which an Israeli man was killed, and his six-year-old daughter and a soldier were wounded, Israel Radio reports Tuesday.

The report did not say how the claim was issued or elaborate.

Security officials said two gunmen perpetrated the attack using an M-16 and a Kalashnikov rifle.

Hey, the Palis are just "defending themselves" by shooting innocent, unarmed fathers and daughters.

They are slime.

Yasser Arafat won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1994.

Says a lot about the Nobel Peace Prize, doesn't it.

If they did it, then it was done with approval and wink of the US State Dept.

I'd say so.

I can see why the prizes for economics, literature, physics, medicine, and chemistry are presented in a separate ceremony. I wouldn't want to have anything to do with the peace prize either.

The literature prize is nearly almost as political. The economics prize -- that's an interesting one.

How long do we have to play that the Road Map means anything but free fire for the Arabs, and can switch to Palestinian Mop Up mode?

I think it's remarkable that Fatah took credit for shooting a 6-year-old girl. Anybody else in all the word - Nazis, Stalinists, Iraqis, Sudanese, you name it - would have vehemently denied it even against videotape proof.

They take credit for doing exactly what this Road-Map leads to : Murder of Jews.
PS: Where'd they get that m16 ? Oslo?

This is such total bullsh*t it is ridiculous. The first terrorist attack after the presentation of the Road Map should have rendered it null and void. What's the point in playing this charade when it is clear the Palis have not given up on terrorism?

Why is it that when terrorists claim responsibility for these murders of innocent people that it doesn't get as much attention as when the US or Israel claims responsibility for accidental deaths or deaths of murderers?

It's time the IDF did some serious turban renewal, although removal would be preferable. Drop them over Mecca and throw in a few "Allah Akbars"!
