Under a legalized drug plan, the lab would be someone like Pfizer or Merck. Same as all other "prescription" drugs. The profit motive would be removed this way. Understand? It's called CAPITALISM.

It's called CAPITALISM.If the federal government can't compete (as you posted), how do you expect Pfizer or Merck to compete in a deregulated, legal drug market?

Pfizer and Merck are propped up by the government to ensure that they are not undersold by the generics. There is no way they could maintain their profit margin and compete with private meth labs.

re: Under a legalized drug plan, )))
How and where would these dangerous, recreational drugs be sold (retail distribution)? Who could buy, and under what circumstances?
The legalization of drugs has arguments with a lot of appeal--chief among which would be to deprive criminals of business. But as soon as one tries to figure out the nuts and bolts of legitimate commerce, the mind boggles. It would seem that a lot of chaos would insue.
Do the pro-legals have a scenario post-legalization that is orderly, that does not creat a huge new class of addicts?
