I am in the midst of a project, and am finding out the hard way that American Clothing Manufacturers are few and far in-between. I am looking for Manufacturer's that handle things such as Shirts,T-Shirts, Pants, Sweats, Caps ETC. that are Made and assembled in the USA. Preferably not UNION, if for no other reason than I do not want to pay the X2 price just so some over paid, non-working type gets a $30.00 per hour salary.
Anyone out there with any suggestions?

Although am I in no way a fan of unions, unions are not in and of themselves proof of being overpaid. The clothing you want is mass market, low margin, meaning high production, capital intensive. In manufacturing today in America, that means union.

http://americanapparel.net/wholesale.html# Well, I"ll let you look at their information. I do not know if the pricing is fair or not (wholesale). Retail looks ok.
Yes, they are socialist, yes, they are socialists (that was repeated on purpose). But this is an example of a mid-point: American Made (they are) and they are trying to help out the people who work for them / treat them as more than animals. Obviously the market (and time) will tell.

Thanks for all the Information. At least now I have a better point at which to start. Again thanks.

Diamond Cut makes jeans entirely in the U.S. (www.diamondcutjeans.com) but they are a union shop. If you decide to go that way, you can go to www.teamstersjeans.com and order the same jeans from them except they have a snazzy Teamster logo in place of the Center Cut patch.

Kellwood has a few factories left here, not many though.

Filson uses some imported cotton, but all manufacture is in USA. Great stuff, and very durable (which is good because I can't afford to replace it often.)

I wear Deva clothes from the Deva Catalog. Most of it is handmade here in the states by women working at home. Of course your granola quotient goes up by 50% when you wear them...
