You know, when they announce whatever figure that they decide that it cost for Dubya to fly onto that aircraft carrier, they will most likely include the cost of food for all 5,000 men for the supposedly extra day as well as salaries for the day for all of them, electricity or whatever powers the ship, absolutely anything and everything associated with the ship's expenses for the day.

They already did. It has been pointed out repeatedly that those costs were already going to be realized and that even the jet trip was already scheduled. It actually saved the US $$ for Bush to do the trip and that is what is KILLING the dems, ESPECIALLY Bird.

I hope the keep this as an issue as long as possible. It is GREAT to have idiots actually SAY "I am an idiot. I am an Idiot. I am an idiot" endlessly.

The ejection seat straps would have been stunning on a suit!

You've got THAT right....heh heh heh. And the helmet. And the parachute. It was a really lame unthought-out criticism, wasn't it? And all the cartoons are so funny, with the zippy little plane running circles around the wimpy whiners and POTUS wannabees.

Didn't George Washington, while he was still President, actually put on his uniform and go off to confront the Whisky Rebellion in Pennsylvania? Too bad Sen. Sheets wasn't around then to criticize the father of our country!

Did either of you hear E.D.'s or Michael Barone's questions in response to the 'He shouldn't have been wearing a uniform' drivel?

E.D......What did they expect him to wear.....a Speedo??
Barone......What did they expect him to wear.......his boxers??

Silly, silly dims. What images they have evoked because of their dimness!

I missed those two responses but how about Terry Moran's question as to the danger of the uniform signifying a civilian take-over? Er, or was it a military take-over? HeeHee...I was stopped in my mental tracks by that. How shallow and perverted and ridiculous! Do you get the feeling that the left can't figure out yet that the media isn't covering their backs as much as in the past?

I don't know who owns them, but I got a 'The Orlando Sentinel will not allow you to post the article in it's entirety' warning, so I, being an obedient child as I am, did what I was told, and excerpted it. :o)

That's what I'm thinking ok. They don't realize that their stupidity is exposed and hanging out there for the whole world to see.

I had the same reaction to Moran's question........did he REALLY ask that?? What a fool!

Yes, Washington did. And, I believe, he wore or carried his sword to his inauguration. The sword is also in his "official" portrait, and he has his hand resting on it.

During his Presidency, he preferred to be called General rather than Mr. President.
