One of the few things more painful to watch than a kiddie talent show is the desperate effort of the Democratic Party's White House hopefuls to gain any traction against President Bush.

The Democratic Party needs to hold a huge, happy funeral for its dead ideas. Then it needs to give birth to inspiring new ones. That would be the greatest favor the Dems could do for themselves, for Republicans, and for America.

I don't know about that. There's something to be said for the Democratic Party being tossed on the dustbin of history and having the GOP split into libertarian and conservative parties that battle each other for the next 100-200 years of American politics.

That way, we would no longer have a major political party that hates its own country.

A very good article.

I'm totally fed up with the Hate America Crowd. Because of our success enemies from within and in other countries for decades have spewed this Hate America stuff without being challenged.

Since Viet Nam we have sat by silently and allowed the Hate America crowd from within and in other countries to bash us for our successes.

It is time for us to have a Zero tolerance for this behavior. I sent an email the Tourist Board for London, telling them in very clear terms the verbal attack on our president by the POS Mayor of London was terrible. We will not visit London until this hate America POS Mayor is out of office.

The Hate America Fairies of Follywood should have to depend on the failing economies of Paris and Berlin for their fading careers.

French companies are paying the price of stabbing us in the bak and supporting a despot.

The Rats/DNC seem to be destroying themselves, and we can point out their truly ugly side with critters like Waxman/Waters.

Zero tolerance for the America haters at home and abroad for the rest of this decade will help modify that hate America behavior.

Forget for a moment that the first (and only) thing a President Al Gore would have done after 9/11 would have been to form a committee of academics to discuss America's guilt.

Great article, but I would agree with this statement only if our opposition had a mission other than the replacement of capitalism with socialism, and the reduction of our country's power on the world stage.

To be an "inspiring new" Party, one needs to love America and her future, not just be an expanding bloated parasite on the body politic.

That's been my hope for a long time. First we have to totally discredit the libs - fortunately, they are helping with that effort - simultaneously we have to regain control of the media and the public schools.

Many signs of success in media area. Schools are probably hopeless - virtually all success there is from home and private schooling.

I mean, when was the last time that you ever heard a reporter ask a Democrat about the specifics of their own "solutions"?!
