Breaking: Democrats Badly Fumble Attacks on Bush for Carrier Landing !
On May 11th the Washington Post has a very pointed critique of the Democrats and how they have fumbled their attacks on President Bush. This is a "must read" column because it is so cool, calm and understated. Frankly, I expect to see Bush's carrier landing about once a week on television during the 2004 Presidential election.
The Daily Mirror.co.uk reported on May 12th that the Mayor of London had taken up the attacks on President Bush in an outrageous harrang echoing the attacks raised by the Senate Democrats in the U.S. This is also a "must read" editorial coming from a well-known newspaper in London. It is also very funny and worth a careful reading.
For a very funny editorial comment about the negative attacks on President Bush's landing on the deck of the USS Abraham Lincoln read this column from the Orlando Sentinel dated May 11th. It seems certain key Democrats are livid with envy.

From the Orlando Sentinel:
As one-two punches go, the Byrd/Waxman sally was a bad day for nerds everywhere. Performing a whiney duet of the desperate, they managed to evoke images of skinny boys studying the quarterback's swagger for clues on cool. It's almost as painful to watch them contort in envy as it must have been for them to watch Bush, a stud muffin no matter what his other flaws, arriving on a testosterone bullet to the cheers of 5,000 sailors.

This story just gets better as it goes along - sort of like the human shields story.

This story just gets better as it goes along - sort of like the human shields story. The story of the double decker bus going across Europe was hysterical. It reminded me of "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum". It was pure comedy. The Monty Python cast or perhaps the Mel Brooks cast should make a movie.

I'm not gay but... W has really transformed himself. I never thought of him as being a physical specimen until he became president... has there ever been another president in this kind of shape? Dude's an animal.

Bump. In addition to making clinton look like the pandering, poll-driven, wishy-washy, moistened-finger-in-the-air politico that he was, W. also makes sink-emporer look like the Pillsbury Doughboy.

I second that!
The Rats, i.e., women and the girly "men" who hate real men, are just having a major hissy because our CinC is a real man and the American people are loving the carrier landing.
