Yes, very good news. But the election is just under 18 months away, which in political time is a couple of geological ages from now. At this point in 1991, Bush I had a bigger lead and he still lost.

According to my "Therory of Political Thirds" (1/3 are always leftists, 1/3 are always conservative and 1/3 are always up for grabs) GW can't do any better than this anywhere! Only the hard-core leftists oppose him....IN NEW JERSEY!

I hope Bush blows them all away in 2004. Just think of the apoplexy by the hate filled left. Micheal Moore alone would be worth any sacrifice.

I'll believe it when I see it.

But we now are a lot smarter than we were in 92.Since 9-11 our country has grown by leaps and bounds. The right is now standing up and the left, not the far left is showing it's not like the Clinton's thought they were.I believe the country is turning more to our side.

Don't believe it. New Jersey has to go, right after Syria, California, and Iran.

41's approval rating was much higher than Dubya's, so Dubya's lead in these polls isn't so artificial. GHWB had something like 90% approval (maybe 80+, but you get the idea) when the much-cited poll vs. Clinton (beating him soundly in Arkansas) was taken.

This is one New Jersey voter who WON'T vote Democratic in 2004.

OR EVER, FOR THAT MATTER.
