Also guys I need prayer...yesterday did some heavy spring cleaning and caused tennis elbow in my other arm. Typing which is my hobby/break from work really aggrevates the pain but I am really stubborn about resting and cannot take anti inflammatories. I love being active and it is required as a careprovider so I would appreciate prayers for healing and staying active.

I just heard about the truck driver who spotted the boat in the wee hours of December 24th near the marina. Supposedly, the truck driver later recognized Scott Peterson from his picture in the news, and reported his sighting to the Modesto Police. Has this been confirmed, or has the Modesto Police given this information? If so, Scott gets a big nail in his own coffin.

County prosecutors filed a capital murder case Monday against a convicted felon in the killing of a 21-year-old Santa Monica woman whose body was found in the Hollywood Hills after she told a roommate she was going to meet a photographer.

Victor Lawrence Paleologus, 40, was also charged with two so-called special circumstances -- lying in wait and murder during the commission of an attempted rape -- which would allow the death penalty to be a possible sentence if he is convicted of murdering Kristine Johnson.

The district attorney's office said it would not make a decision on whether to seek the death penalty until after the preliminary hearing, which will determine whether there is sufficient evidence to order him to trial.

Arraignment was scheduled for Wednesday in Superior Court.

Paleologus has been jailed in lieu of $1.5 million bail since a Feb. 17 arrest in a theft case brought in Beverly Hills.

Johnson vanished on Feb. 15. Hikers found her body on March 9 in a ravine on Skyline Drive in the Hollywood Hills. The cause of death has not been released.

Numerous volunteers helped search for her while she was missing. On Feb. 24 police learned that her white 1996 Mazda Miata was parked Feb. 16. at the St. Regis Hotel in Century City.

Paleologus is also charged with one count each of identity theft, filing a false financial statement..............

This is all crap.. to sit here and theorize about how Peterson may have done the crime, and to post evidence that has not even been ruled admissable in court seriously undermines the defense of Peterson. Remember that no matter how guilty a man may appear in the press, he has the right to a trial by jury. Lest we forget, Richard Jewel looked pretty damn guilty at first...

IIRC, that's correct and another reason why Scott is so suspect. He only bought the boat last fall and apparently, none of his friends knew about it. I don't know whether Laci did or not, but if his friends didn't, maybe she didn't as well? It's possible. Also might mean that he needed money to support his increased spending habits.

Maybe he should have taken a buddy with him in the boat. Then when he was told her body was found, he could motor around the harbour with a gun to his head in distress.

AP: Modesto - Police today revealed that an eyelash of Lacy Peterson's was found in a small plastic vial retrieved from a pond in Maryland near Dr. Steven Hatfield's residence. Hatfield has repeatedly stated that he had nothing to do with the disappearance and homicide of Lacy Peterson.

The FBI has stated for the record that while they cannot prove that Hatfield murdered Lacy Peterson, they are convinced that he conspired with Scott Peterson to kill her.

Meanwhile, in Miami, Florida, police arrested OJ Simpson on suspicion of the murder of Lacy Peterson when an anonymous tip led them to a nail clipper that once belonged to Lacy Peterson. Simpson immediately stated that while he did indeed murder his ex-wife Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman, he had nothing whatsoever to do with the disappearance or death of Lacy Peterson.

Police also retrieved a box of small plastic vials from Simpson's hotel room which the FBI said matched the vials found in the pond in Maryland.

Additionally, at a morning news conference in Las Vegas, the former valet to Frank Sinatra revealed that John F. Kennedy, a frequent visitor to Mr. Sinatra's wild parties, once revealed to him that he had had sex with Lacy Peterson's mother. Mrs. Peterson has denied the report.
