A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 5/13/03

Posted on 05/13/2003 6:34:37 PM PDT by rintense

President Bush outlines his economic and job growth plan today in a speech at Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Ind. The President used the occasion to condemn the attacks in Saudi Arabia and reminded everyone that the war on terror continues. He also spoke with some senior citizens at a private, roundtable discussion while in Indiana. Bush then headed to tornado ravaged areas of Missouri to view the destruction, and gave words and hugs of support to those who lost property and loved ones in last week's storms. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

rintense.....

I posted my rant before I gto the chance to view these pictures..... All I can say is..... WOW

My mood has done a 180 degree turn. I believe these are the best pics I have seen that portray the compassion our great President shows to everyone he encounters.

Thanks SO MUCH for cheering me up

God Bless You,

MJY

They've become the party of the pitiful and hysterical. Don't give the fools another thought. Let them dig their own grave, cook their own goose, etc... You get the picture.

Mike, you are SO right!

Today while I was shopping for clothes, a woman struck up a conversation.

After we chatted about clothes and raising children a bit, she said she was worried about her children BECAUSE: “You know, I’m really worried about what our President is doing. I’m so afraid that he started something and we’re in more danger now than before 9/11.” Then she spoke about the terrorist attack in Saudi Arabia, and said it wouldn’t have happened except for Bush.

Believe me, I started praying for the right words, and I talked and talked. One thing I was SO grateful for was having read here on FR that some group had studied the terrorists acts and found that there were less of them in 2002 than in any of the previous ten years. Of course I told her that. And I said everything that I could think of to convince her that President Bush is doing the right thing.

FRUSTRATION: No matter what I said, she seemed doubtful.
I can only pray that some of what I said sunk in.

Oh, my God! How I was wishing you people had been there with me.

And how thankful I am for all the discussions we’ve had.

One can actually feel the President's compassion and longing to bring order and peace to all those damaged by the tornados. What a man!

Rintense, thanks for the marvelous work you do every night. The Daily Dose is a life saver!

I know the feeling. I was bombed out about something and I saw the President on tv and my attitude changed immediately. He's such an encouragement. He deals with this pettiness on a daily basis.

I have been so angry with the democrats today that I wish I could wrap my hands around a few of their necks.

And how about those 51 dumb dems from Texas who ran away from Texas to hole up in Oklahoma because they're unhappy about not having a majority in the state legislature for the first time in 130 years (of course, they give other reasons, but that's really it)?! These whiney rats are everywhere!! We're ashamed, I tell ya, ashamed that they're from Texas! I'm sure Oklahoma is thrilled to have these losers staying there, too!!

I was watching the clock, just waiting to see who would be first to jump on the wagon, trying to profit politically from these new attacks. It took longer than I thought, but then I don't watch those news channels where I might have heard it sooner. These people need to be voted out of office as soon as possible.

I know we don't like to soil this thread with discussing the unmentionable one, but I'm currently reading "Dereliction of Duty". I tell ya..... well, I guess I can't. There are so many pages where I just shake my head, but it really doesn't surprise me. I'm soooooooo thankful that we have a president that we trust and respect - especially one that our military trusts and respects too.

There is no way to fake the genuine love for people he feels, and the comfort it must give them to know how much he cares!

Good to see you, McLynnan!
