I loved her columns. This is so sad.

Hi,
Favor: can you change the title of the thread to "Linda Bowles: No Distinction Between Good, Evil?"
I forgot to add her name, like an idiot, which was the main reason I posted the article.
I appreciate your help, and know you probably have zots to perform so this is a bit silly. ;)

I loved her, too. She didn't have the name recognition of Coulter, Noonan, Malkin, Ingraham, etc, but she had her own following. It's sad she chose to leave. I don't understand it, but I've never been in her shoes and pray I will never have to be.

My dad is going to buy Tammy's book, and then lend it to me & hubby to read. I'm really looking forward to it after seeing her on H&C a few times. It's pretty surprising to me that she chose to tackle that topic, considering her background. Pretty brave, too.

Linda, it was a question of good and bad, right and wrong -- it was wrong and bad for you to take your own life.

I agree. She leaves a daughter behind, grown I think, I don't know her age. Her daughter seems to understand her mother's "broken heart" thinking which lead her to take her life, but she now has to live with it as well, which is sad.

You're welcome. I hope WND keeps her column archive up, at least for awhile, so more people can read some of her great work who hadn't before.

She was the best writer and thinker out of that set. And that's saying a lot.

Her conscience does seem to come through much more than some of the others in that set. And I forgot Barbara Olsen, too. Damn.

If you have an ounce of pity please read Shakespeare's Sonnet #30 and then whisper a prayer for one who left us far far too early.

This is sad. Even though her daughter might be understanding of her mother's pain now, years from now when she experiences life's diffulties she might be inclined to consider suicide herself----consider recent aticles on Ted Turner and his own dad's suicide.
