The killing was not only senseless, but quite savage. Peterson, assuming he's guilty could very well have been on drugs at the time, then cleaned it up afterwards. If not, then this was no crime of passion, but the work of a psycho who got pleasure out his crime.

Goold, chief deputy district attorney in Stanislaus, said he would send the reports to defense attorneys. Asked if medical examiners had gotten answers to the main questions in the case, Lee said, "In a very general sense, the answer is yes."

Thanks for the ping, and good morning rb.

"May 16, 2003 -- Laci Peterson was savagely carved up, her killer cutting off her head and removing internal body parts, a chilling new report said yesterday. "

Sadistic sex gone awry. Watch out for LIBERALtarians to come running to Scott's defense.
<pSeriously, I believe it was Scott. Of course I don't have all the facts but I'm just connecting the dots. If he is proven to be the one, has has EARNED captial punishment and should have NO choice on how it is done. Laci nor Conner didn't have a choice on death either.

Court to Hear Suit Filed by Condit's Wife
Thu May 15,11:35 PM ET - AP

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20030516/ap_on_re_us/brf_condit_libel_suit_1

FRESNO, Calif. - A $10 million libel suit filed by former Rep. Gary Condit (news, bio, voting record)'s wife against a supermarket tabloid is headed to court after lawyers failed to reach a settlement Thursday, the woman's attorney said.

Carolyn Condit sued the National Enquirer last year after it published headlines on its Web site and its Aug. 7, 2001, front page that said: "Cops: Condit's Wife Attacked Chandra."

Scott isn't looking too good these days. :o)

Have MPD Divers continued their search for cement blocks and remaining body parts (Lord...I hate that thought)?

How can anyone take this guy seriously?

He thinks he is such a stud that he can't remain true to one women. He promised the last one he married that she was the one for him and he would be forever true to her.

Geraldo's Nuptials
By Lloyd Grove
Washington Post Mazel tov to 59-year-old Fox News star Geraldo Rivera -- who will wed his 28-year-old girlfriend, television producer Erica Levy, at New York's historic Central Synagogue on Aug. 10, The Post's Christine Haughney reports. "You can't be my age and getting married and not be an optimist," Rivera, the son of a Jewish mother and Puerto Rican father, told us yesterday. He noted that he had been to the altar four times previously and had four children to show for it. "I don't know, maybe there will be one more with Erica," he said.

KGO-TV anchor Pete Wilson (said)

...even though I'm not part of the horde that blames an amorphous entity called "the media" for many of the evils in society.

Oh, I think Free Republic, as part of "the horde", has done an excellent job of documenting very specific examples of out and out lies printed by the media that have caused harm and promoted evil. So easy to toss off words like "horde" and "amorphous" to dismiss an accusation.

Well, when I heard on MSNBC that the baby was cut out of Laci, I started to think Scott may not have done it, go ahead get me ;)

The report of internal organs doesn't jive with the fact that the foetus was less decomposed than Laci. If her abdomen had been cut open, the baby would have been skeletal as well. We all know that the umbilical cord was still attatched, so that was obviously not so. The carving story came from the defense.
