Agree OP! I've seen her do a few interviews w/o her appparatus and when the question got more heated, and she couldn't come up some more of her brand of BS..she says, "I think I need to go inside and get my oxygen."

From all the dry reading I have done on the subject a quick puff of 02 does nothing. It must be used for hours at a time to build up to theraputic levels.

So then why is it that she has appeared w/o it, but shows up in court and press appearances and at the search center with this on?...sympathy factor?...

Wouldn't it be just a total CLASSIC, if next time someone on TV says (with a straight face), "Scott's counsel says he has an alibi, in that he was with a one-night stand, but they can't currently find her," and if, say, Jeffrey Fieger were to pipe up and say, "They should try looking in the bay"?

I must admit I thought the same thing. Then I reminded myself, hey, Self, temperant people get sick, too! But THEN I reminded myself of a woman I knew who had been a heavy drinker in her youth, and was still a smoker, and who died of pneumonia at age 39! AND of a man I knew who was such a heavy drinker he lost his job as a professor at Tulane U. and was actually living on the street, and got cancer of the throat (pipe smoker) and died b/c his general health was so bad, they couldn't operate on him! Had he been in good general health, the doctors said it would have been a very good prognosis for such a comparatively young man.

Okay, I guess I'm sounding too much like Pollyanna. Sorry for being annoyingly cheery!

Sure! It's smoking, isn't it? It always makes me laugh to see these health nut types who would literally kill a person if they were to dare to light up a cigarette in their presence, but then they go home and have a joint! (As for their politics... liberal, of course.)

I do not know. I wonder who her 02 vender is. Lin Care or a competitor. Nice contract to have either way.
If she is using her 02 for a puff here and there it is not of any theraputic value. Those 02 juice bars are a hoax.
Like I said the dry stuff I have read recommends D.O. to be at a minamal of 12hrs. this in some cases can maintain 02 levels for the next 12 hours. If one were to need it 24hrs. a day I would say that they cannot keep 02 values up without constant use. That is a pretty ill person.
She does appear to be puffy/bloated. I would love to see her ankles and feet. Just curious. No personal attacks.
I also have yet to see the little concentrator that feeds the 02 through her canula. Perhaps in her big black purse.
It can be small enough to fit in a big purse nowadays.
Usaully looks like a blue square bag about the size of a lunch bag.
The tank behind the patient is way old out dated way of getting 02 therapy.
We have tanks stowed but that is only if the electricity is down for more that 24hrs. which is rare in this day and age.

I've seen her with a bag that her tubes go into...By the way, her face liiks puffy and bloated to me.
My sweetie's Mom died after suffering w/emphazema for many years...she was about 90lbs for the last several years of her life, but the again, when we were kids, I never remember her bieng anything but a thin woman. (even after 6 kids)

Her face looks puffy to me, too, Jackie.

I have seen that puffiness before in people I knew who had serious addictions to drugs (sometimes legally prescribed), or alcohol.

Just my opinion. I am not saying that's why her face looks puffy. I am saying that I think that's a definite possibility--in my opinion!
