Your POOR husband. Glad to here the the tumor was benign.
Glad he has had the playoffs! Does he have a laptop he can play on while recovering? FR can be pretty addictive.

It is very common for the younger generation to use only a cell phone and reserve the line phone for business.

He was really too sick to be interested in the computer. He just sat in his oversized Lazy Boy and watched tv or read.

I don't know about her mother, my guess is that she is either camera shy or dead. She does have a sister in Modesto, however.

I remember that show being advertised but have never watched it. To be honest with you, I can't hardly stand to watch television, especially shows like that. Don't get me wrong, I do watch tv..I just have to limit what I call the trash shows. :)
Amazing that the "boyfriend" that you described also said his wife "died". It's seems like a repulsive thing to say.... all I can say is... God help him and those who wish or pretend their spouses dead. It's just seems so abnormal. Of course, maybe it's a technique used to cover his behind if he accidently says his wife's name!
Cyncooper...It just started sprinkling here a few minutes ago. we've been in a drought too.. many ponds have dried up etc..

(snip) "I met Scott Peterson Nov. 20, 2002," she said when she publicly announced the affair. "I was introduced to him. I was told he was unmarried. Scott told me he was not married. We did have a romantic relationship." (snip)
http://abcnews.go.com/sections/us/GoodMorningAmerica/scottpeterson030509.html I still think it was a female and she was from Modesto. Maybe a friend of Amber's sister?

Good analysis. I would be interested to hear your opinion on possible similarities between the "characters" of Bill Clinton and Ted Bundy. I have thought about this, and have found many similarities in their upbringing, and in their later behavior.
To: The Other Harry
I don't think that it is an established fact that a girl Scott dated in college disappeared.
Scott is indeed a despicable person, but I don't know if he can be associated with such a thing. I've never heard anything definite about that.
To: ~Kim4VRWC's~
Because, unfortunately, juries are (according to the "experts") at least at times influenced by these things. That is why the defense lawyers dress up their clients in conservative clothes. Think of the Mendez brothers.
Also there has been discussion of Scott bleaching his hair and the negative implications of it -- as well as his being seen in a suit projecting a positive image.
Surely we all have met conservative looking persons who are anything but -- and vice versa. However, profiling does take place. And makeup and clothes constitute a part of it.

Exactly. Scott does not look like a murderer is "supposed" to look. Nor did he have the presumed lifestyle. Neither did David Westerfield. NOT giving an opinion on that man's guilt or innocence here. Just commenting that he did not appear to be a psycho, b/c he was middle-class and had a good job.
To: clouda
Clouda, I'm very glad to see you back. You get some great scoops!
Amber is what she is, and the prosecution will try to make the best of it. Sometimes all they have to testify against a defendant are out-and-out criminals. Amber had a child out of wedlock, and she posed for nudie pictures, but she is nowhere near as sleazy as some of the people who are sometimes the only witnesses regarding a crime.

Amber Frey, the "other woman" in Scott Peterson's life, re-emerged Monday looking (and acting) eerily like Paula Jones.I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this. Weird.
Could I be added to the Laci Peterson ping lists?
To: Howlin
Whatever he's writing, I hope it comes back and I hope it has teeth.
To: BunnySlippers
Okay! But they should get to use a photo of themselves at age 28.
To: The Other Harry
My father worked with a guy who kept telling him about his psychopathic brother-in-law and all the things that the man suspected the brother-in-law of doing. Years later when my father was the desk sergeant at the local police station, there was a horrible rape murder and my father suggested that they look at this man from a neighboring town. Sure enough, this guy was the killer and was executed after the death penalty was re-instated. Who knows what other crimes the man committed in the intervening years. I do remember that my father's acquaitance suspected Elmo Smith of being guilty of several child murders in or around Lancaster county where the bodies had been thrown down wells.

Well, if she becomes a heroine and some people change their opinion, they will be doing nothing more than Geragos has done.
To: BunnySlippers
Yes, and the eyeshadow didn't look nearly as good on Al as it did on Katherine Harris.
