Hollywood Furious with Deck of Weasels
The Left Coast Report, via email | 5-20-03 | James Hirsen

Posted on 05/21/2003 8:37:53 AM PDT by Paul Atreides

NewsMax is already hearing that several Hollywood stars are just furious with our latest "Deck of Weasels" -- our playing and information cards that expose the anti Americanism of the political world and Hollywood.

One mega star's producer told us late last week that "Everyone is talking about it, and a lot of people are worried."

Worried about what?

Well, the crazed liberals that make up Tinseltown's elite thought the "Bush war" against Iraq was truly going to be a disaster -- and that they would be vindicated.

Sorry, Charlie, it didn't work out that way, did it?

Now the Hollywood libs were hoping that their anti American fervor would evaporate into recent memory. That was until the Deck of Weasels hit late last week.

The 55 playing cards not only depict the angry Hollywood establishment -- with the likes of Ed Asner, George Clooney, Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins and others -- but reveals their most outrageous quotes.

Some are thinking that certain big box office stars may soon be going the way of the Dixie Chicks.

Well, let's help them! Check out NewsMax's new Deck of Weasels... get them and pass them around to your friends and family. They are fun and informative.

Every one of your posts exposes you as either a disrupter or a liberal wuss, or both.

Danny Glover?

I haven't seen his MCI commercial ever since O'reilly took him to task. I'd like to think it was pulled because I called MCI and cancelled them.

Commercial holdem game, or just for the whale of it? I have played Texas for many years, still not sure if I have won, lost or broke even. (:>D

Yeah, but I think you just have to keep it light-hearted, not hateful the way the dems do.

It will only be a matter of time before

WEASELOMICS - THE BOARD GAME

emerges as the next national phenom.

Based on Clinton's immutable Democratic (i.e. Socialist) law of economics, it will involve:

Corruption,

Legal retainers,

Race-baiting and victim syndrome litigation of corporate assets,

IRS intimidation,

Tainted blood distribution,

Commodities trading,

Illegal donations,

National Security secrets bartering,

Pardon selling,

and, of course, the timeless:

Gorging on the public dole until you are fatter, uglier and more disgusting than even Michael Moore.

Cost of the new game? Your soul.

I am a java developer. But recently began to look at C#. The best way to learn is not just reading the book and looking at examples but to actually write something. There are quite a few online poker games, but I know none that will let you have a private game.. So I decided to write one. I'll definately be using it once I am done.

Good for them.

I'll bet they are box office poison right now though.

What imbecile would finance a major motion picture with them in it?

I doubt very seriously they are diggin' it.

You just proved it. there are still imbeciles in Hollywood.

Of course, the statements these Hollyweirdos made are pretty current, and these film contracts were for the most part signed before that all happened.

It would be interseting to see the box office receipts of these duds.

But I think the old adage of "any publicity is good publicity" has been quite thoroughly debunked of late.

Well the socialists have already made statements that they would rally around some boycotted performers. There are some on the left who feel it is their duty now to buy a Dixie Chicks album even though they don't like the music. Sales are sales. The question is: Are the useful idiots who will follow marching orders and buy merchandise that they will never use a less significant part of the economy than those former customers who were outraged by the actions of the celebrities?

The Hollywood Weasels have put themselves into a niche market. For some, they were second stringers or has beens already; any press is more than they were getting. Others may find the phone ringing less and less. Those wannabes can always collect a speaking engagement fee (the Blame American First agitprop business has been good since the second half of the Clinton reign (with the WTO protestors, et al)).

I don't think we are allowed to post such links, but if you go to the newsmax.com website, you will see the advertisement telling you how to get them.

Maybe it is just me, but I don't think I have ever heard one person claim excitedly to see a movie solely based on the fact that it had Susan Sarandon, Tim Sarandon, or Sean Penn in it.
