Well, you got me interested now. Going to have to go watch a few holes.

I can see alot of people tuning in and ratings being very good for the week. There are PGA guys back in the office laughing their way to the bank.

First birdie shot was 10 inches short, this one is about 18 inches short.

A bit more punch on her putts, and she could be 2 under after two!

Since it's about golf, I've got no problem her playing with the big boys IF she can go with the same rules as everyone else. I want to see the best golfers. I don't care who they are.

But, as some have pointed out. It doesn't work the same the other way around. Men going down to play the LPGA would ruin that sport just as men playing Womens Prof. Basketball would ruin it for women.

She's not grouped with big ball knockers, nailed her first 258 they said. Not that shappy.

TourCAST may get in some trouble:

Their description of Annika in the shot by shot reads like this

Annika hit his second putt...

You figure they would have made that little correction.

A 14 year old Michelle Wie (who hits it 300 yards) is planning to play the Canadian Open this year.

If she finishes 2nd she automatically gets a 2004 PGA Tour card..

And if I am elected President I get a nice salary and retirement package. Should I now qualify for matching funds? The odds of me being President and her finishing 2nd are about equal.

What a stupid topic for Breaking News. This whole Annika story is the media equivalent of those 'self-esteem' classes in public schools. I guess Stuart Smalling got a sex change.

lol, I'm going to try to get that to load. You'd think big blue would have enough servers to handle the load.

I went to high school with Aaron Barber (one of the rookies paired with her). I still live in the small town where we grew up -- he's a local celebrity of sorts.

I'm having a hard time getting Tour Cast to work (and I'm a paying, subscribing member). It still shows them on hole 10 for me.
