France not invited for air force exercise in US (they can leave the white flags at home)

WASHINGTON: Still upset with France for its opposition to the Iraq war, the Pentagon has said that Paris been "disinvited" from participation in a long-scheduled Air Force exercise to be held next year in Nevada.

The Pentagon told the French military attache here that his country has been "disinvited" from taking part in the exercise called Red Flag, media reports said.

In the same spirit, France has already been informed that the US will limit its participation in next month's Paris Air Show, they said.

No American generals would attend and there would be no demonstrations by US aircraft. American planes will be sent for the show but they would stay on the ground during the exhibition.

You said, "I hope these orders came from the very TOP. Maybe Cheney has some say too??"

What if they came from the VERY TOP the President and that maybe a couple of RATS ought to think about the principles of a man taht does not put things behind hiom for the sake of TRADE. Maybe being with us or against us is more the "read my lips."

If I was in politics I would be sure that when I picked a fight with the Presidnet it was not persona, because he seems to keep a list and check it more than once a year. I doubt that all the BS we hear from the 9 dwarfs is going without some note taking on the part of President Bush.

The FRench are learning that words and actions have consequences.

Perhaps next time they will be a little more amenable?

Actually, aircraft is about the only military weapon that France makes that doesn't suck...
Monsieur, I beg to differ with you. Look at a Super Entendard vs an F-16, a Mirage IV vs an F-15. The only reason Frog planes fly is because of technology that was either bought or stolen from the U.S.

Yeah, those Iraqi Air Farce Mirage jets really extinguished themselves in the recent conflict...

I agree with you. I want him as a friend not enemy!

BUT...When he began his term with the "can't we all just get along" attitude I was very worried. I was afraid he would not be strong and determined. BOY 9-1-1 sure changed that on the international scene.

Now...when will the Kennedys pay for the slights to Laura( to please Hillary) and himself ( come over to the movies and we will plan a building named for Bobby). Letting Kennedy draft the education plan and then having him blame George for the funding ...SHOULD HAVE BEEN STRIKE THREE!!

Man, I hate these stinking 'rats!

Yeah? well compare Thunderbird with Chateau-Latife?

Look at a Super Entendard vs an F-16, a Mirage IV vs an F-15

True comparison: Super Entendard vs McD-D A4M Skyhawk, a Mirage IV vs NA A-5 Vigilante. A lot closer in timescale and performance.

Perhaps I can help the the frogs understand the PERMANENT change in U.S. sentiment:

1. french President Jacques Chirac, personally helped Iraq begin its nuclear program.
2. france assisted China in shipping raw materials for chemical weapons to Iraq through Syria.
3. french security services helped suppress opposition groups seeking to depose Saddam Hussein.
4. The french had supplied Iraq with precision switches for nuclear weapons.
5. french companies had resupplied Iraq with spare parts for fighter jets on the eve of the March 2003 invasion. Intelligence reports indicated that Iraq was able to obtain French military spare parts for its Mirage jets and Gazelle attack helicopters in violation of U.N. sanctions.
6. The french helped Iraqi officials escape U.S. capture by issuing them EU passports. The passports allowed the Iraqis to evade detection by U.S. military and intelligence agencies because they were EU travel documents.
7. Intelligence officials said France attempted to conclude an oil deal with Saddam's government days before U.S. military action began March 19.
8. The french peddled disinformation against the Americans before the war -- this is a war for oil, Resolution 1441 does not authorize military action, George Bush is "cowboy," etc. -- at the very least, they now deserve some of their own.

france had an unemployment rate of 9.3% last month (April 03). It’s rising. Can we help them push it over 10%? 20%?. The new reality show on FOX this fall could be the marxists, socialists, and fundamentalist muslim imports (they are about 10% of the population and growing) burning paris to the ground. You can help:

WE SHOULD NEVER FORGET!

Gotta keep this alive. Share this link with all like minded family and friends. They are feeling the heat.
