Didn't you just have a run in with one of the tentacle groups of the far left? Want to see something else they are into?

This is one of Kelly's most revealing rants:
>>> I don't remember whether I got an RFK autograph or just a
>>> handshake when I was a kid and he was campaigning near South Bedford-
>>> Stuyvesant, Brooklyn (where I raised).
>>> I do remember that as I became politicized the political myths
>>> around the Kennedy brothers began to disintegrate.
>>> RFK was Attorney-General (i.e., head honcho in charge of frame-
>>> ups and other aspects of U.S. justice (e.g., early days of
>>> Cointelpro) / J. Edgar Hoover's BOSS), and a world-class witch-hunter
>>> in own right. "That['s what] we have learned now...."!!
>>> While one may debate whether it was RFK's being adamantly pro-
>>> Zionist in speeches and actions that (allegedly) motivated Sirhan B.
>>> Sirhan to fire his fatal shot(s) at RFK, the numbers of people
>>> murdered as a result of RFK's decisions far exceeds just one -- think
>>> about the lynchings / beatings in those times of those who were
>>> (mistakenly or correctly) identified as civil rights activists.
>>> Amazing how political amnesia works as a pill for those who need
>>> something to rationalize supporting / campaigning for the next
>>> liberal who comes down the pike: The witch-hunter extraordinaire, co-
>>> author of the anti-labor Kennedy-Landrum-Griffin Act, initiator of
>>> the embargo, Bay of Pigs and countless other attacks and attempts to
>>> overturn the Revolution in Cuba, the person who came close to blowing
>>> up the planet during the October Crisis (also called the "Cuban
>>> Missile Crisis"), Commander-in-Chief during the incipient years of
>>> the Vietnam War debacle, etc., etc. -- presto-change-o!! -- with use
>>> of much whitewash is painted as the white knight of Camelot.
>>> Rather than reprint some half-baked conspiracy theory of the
>>> reason(s) behind JFK'S assassination (especially one with more
>>> machinations than a Rube Goldberg contraption!), it would be more
>>> fruitful to recall and reprint the poignant comment that Malcolm X
>>> made about that assassination: "The chickens have come home to
>>> roost."

The information flowing into this thread has been fascinating. A good lesson to all in the prudence of not flying off the handle and checking sources first.

Now for a moment, back to Watchman123. I found one of his earliest posts, long before his account became suddenly active within the past few weeks. Someone put a thread up along the lines of "What are your favorite websites". Watchman123 posted a link to a site calling it a "great political site". It was someone's geocities site. I kinda liked the disclaimer at the bottom of it:

The creator of that site now refers to himself as "Reverend" but he's still trying to pawn his wares off on unsuspecting visitors to his "great political site".
Watchman 123 has used this same name in other forums.

How do you know it is him? He makes it sound like the right Reverend Kwong is his friend.

Any stats on what "a lot of elderly people" means?
I worked in a 12 bed CCU for seventeen years as an RN. We also took medical cases, not just cardiacs. Every single winter we would get in a half dozen elderly people with pneumonia that would progress to respiratory failure, ARDS, congestive heart failure, MI, and renal failure. Easily 20% of them went on to die. Between December and March, the unit would be full of these cases.
People with underlying cardiac disease, compromised pulmonary function, impaired immunity and/or undetected renal insufficiency succumb to pneumonia much more readily than younger, healthy adults because they develop *so many multisystem complications.* The odds of survival get worse and worse. It all adds up.
SARS sounds like a new variant of a very old syndrome. The problem as I understand it is that the organism causing the pneumonia is a mutation that no one has any immunity to.
How many is "a lot"? I'd say 20% of the patients we had died of the disease. 50% - that's a lot

If SARS is raging in China then it is virtually certain that SARS will be raging in the Bay Area as well, since the population of the Bay Area is largely Asian now. Haven't been back to the Bay Area in years, but I will note that just north of me, Vancouver B.C., is quite largely Asian, and unlike Toronto there've been no alerts from there. (Unlike the WHO advisory about Toronto that has been/will be re-instated, according to some FR postings.)

Do you mean the google results? I don't know any of those "Raymond Kwong" results are the same "Raymond Kwong" as the one in the Watchman123 post. I misstated when I said "including HIS website." Sorry about that.

It was in the local fish wrap and seemed to be some very undocumented reporting.
