BTW, wasn't Rooster Cogburn the movie with the "mud" fight with Hepburn and others...???

"Rooster Cogburn" was a sequel to "True Grit" but I believe you are thinking of "McClintock" with Maureen O'Hara.

Talking about the Duke, does anyone here remember the movie, I think it was released in the 1950's - "The High and the Mighty" where Wayne was the captian on an airliner that developed trouble on a filght to Hawaii?

High and the Mighty was the forerunner of all the "Airport" movies.

I never see that film mentioned anymore, but I remember the ending very well. I would love to have a copy of that film.
