BTW, my favorite Wayne film is still The Quiet Man. Between the beautiful landscape, the superb cast, and the opening scene when he first catches sight of Maureen O'Hara running barefoot through the hills herding those sheep, I'm glued to the set every time it comes on. And Ms. O'Hara is still the epitome of the red-haired female...

Dittos on The Quiet Man. My husband-to-be and I saw it on our first date. I bought the DVD so I could enjoy it over and over.

In Ireland on St. Patrick's Day, the people watch two movies in celebration - 'Darby O'Gill and the Little People' and 'The Quiet Man'.
