No matter how much truth Miss Coulter presents, most of the American people will not listen. The people have already made up their minds on McCarthy -- well they let the establishment make up their minds for them on that question long ago. People allow themselves to be spoon-fed by liberals and accept the liberal world view with little challenge.

No matter how much truth Miss Coulter presents, most of the American people will not listen. Yes, but although M. Stanton Evans may be a much more qualified expert, he probably doesn't look so hot in a short skirt, and he's never gonna sell a million books. Having a best seller out there vindicating McCarthy *will* make a difference. Yeah, most Americans won't read it, but those that do will no longer maintain an embarrased, deferential or uninformed silence the next time the McCarthyism myth is trotted out. Reversing a myth as ingrained as this one takes time, but, however overdue, the process has finally started.
