Mike Tyson says he would 'really' rape victim now

Mike Tyson hasn't lost his penchant for saying the outrageous.

In a television interview scheduled for broadcast Thursday, Tyson again denied he raped Desiree Washington in 1991 in an Indianapolis hotel room. But he said the burden of being labeled a convicted rapist makes him want to do it now.

"I just hate her guts. She put me in that state, where I don't know,'' Tyson said. "I really wish I did now. But now I really do want to rape her.''

Tyson made the comments during a recent interview in Miami Beach with Greta Van Susteren, who was taking a look back at the circumstances of Tyson's 1992 trial that ended with him convicted of rape and sentenced to six years in prison.

He served three years of the sentence before being released on parole.

A call for comment to Tyson's adviser, Shelly Finkel, was not immediately returned.

The interview will be shown Thursday night on "The Pulse'' on the Fox network.

Wasn't this just a CSI episode last week? Some guy spent ten years in jail for killing someone except it turns out they weren't dead, and then he got out and immediately went after her knowing he couldn't be charged again?

Clinton's accusers didn't go t his hotel room, alone, at 3AM, after asking other women how much money they thought she could "get out of him".

As much as I dislike Mike Tyson, I have to add that I think he was innocent of raping that girl.

Mike doesn't think, he just acts. He's a street thug with a bank account and keepers and his rape conviction, to him was a badge of honor.

In Mikes world, violence wins the day and that's all that counts. To curtail his tendency towards violence requires thought. He's never been good at thinking, but he likes to win. So, to Mikey boy, violence is a winner.

Compassion, feelings, heartache, are thinking man's games and the rewards don't match the effort he'd require to accomplish them.

Tyson is not a guy I like, but the evidence is he got screwed in this case. The outrage is that there was convincing evidence that Desiree Washington had hired an attoney to file a civil suit, then lied under oath when asked if she shad hired an attoney to take him to the cleaners. His appeal attorney said it was the strongest appeal he had ever filed and yet the Indiana Supreme Court shot it down. Read the opinion, get the facts. Judge Mikey on this one not because he himself is a brute, but whether the case makes sense, and whether a victim can lie without repercussions of any kind. The alleged victim took his limo back home after the sex, then decided later she had been raped, after Mikey didn't call her back.

And Mike doesn't have a right to be bitter?

So much for the story that he'd found religion.

Not so sure. I thought it was Islam he found.

This guy is sick. How can a man even consider sex or talk about it, consensual or rape, when looking at Greta Van Cistern? Greta couldn't even draw flies.

"Why is Susteren interviewing this guy? I though that was Jerry Springer's turf."

You are right. Great IS plumbing the depths. Greta's rating have been very soft for awhile now and me thinks her days could be numbered UNLESS she teams up with Ann Coulter and/or Catherine Crier and/or Napolitano with a FRESH show that doesn't rehash the previous 6 hours of stories- z-z-z-zzzzzzzz!

I would LOVE to see her and the others exposing the flaws in our legal system and ACTIVELY pursuing AND following-up with complaints against crooked lawyers and judges- they have gotten WAY out of hand now.

The day crew already do a good job reporting the news, you then have Shep and John with the summaries and selective details, then you have Cavuto rehashing the news with a dollop of business coverage and his terrific Common Sense pieces, then you have Brit and his wartime grapevine, then you have O'Reilly opining with this guests on the SAME issues, then Hannity and Colmes looking at the SAME issues from every angle so by the time Greta gets on to contribute her two cents worth on the SAME issues, I'm reaching over and kissing my wife...and catching Leno an hour and half later for some laughs with toddlers that have a deeper knowledge of world affairs than 99% of American journalists.

This is the "Tysonized" equal of a 6 year old saying: "Well, if I am going to get whooped for something I didn't do... "

I don't know if he did it or not.. I really can't make up my mind. It's like: Potential Gold Digger/Spurned Crazy Chick Vs The Hulking Cannibal With a 2 Millimeter Fuse.

Like most of Tyson's remarks.. I have no idea what to make of this..

I am torn. I doubt he did this, but there are others who have gone on the record regarding assaults before he was famous, or when he was just starting as a pro. One was a former trainer's sister. They made no effort to cash in. In fact, some had legitimate civil cases they never even filed.

My conflict comes because I believe he is a rapist, but not in this case. Therefore, does this injustice offset another injustice? I just don't know. In a legal sense, no. But justice and legality are not the same thing.
