All this frothing at the mouth as if each and every Muslim on the planet is planning to blow up his neighborhood.

That's a red herring argument if I've ever heard of one!

Of course, not "every Muslim" is planning to blow up his neighborhood. But, a substantial number of them are. A much larger number is in sympathy with their ultimate aims although they have no desire to get out front and pull the triggers. Sure, there are some "peaceful" Muslims. But most of them don't dare show sympathy to the Infidel, so they are moot.

It's stupid, and it smacks of a kind of racism.

This has nothing to do with race and the concept is far from "stupid". It has everything to do with ethnicity and the religious culture of Radical Islam. This fundamentalist movement is a world-wide religion intent on subjugating the world into it's own hideous, slave-like mold. They claim to get their authority from revealed scripture (Koran), much like the Communists got theirs from Das Kapital and The Communist Manifesto.

Islam is entirely foreign to Western culture, human rights and the Rule of Constitutional Law. This means it is anathama to everything "American". It deserves to be pushed back into the dark corners from whence it murderously emerged. Better yet, it's adherents need to be converted from it's bondage and set free both religiously and politically.

Are you Muslim?

I'm a lapsed Catholic. I've never even cracked open the Koran -- but I've become quite disgusted at "conservative" bashing of Muslims and Arabs and "ragheads" these past few years.

For over two decades, I defended conservatives and Christian fundamentalists against charges of racism from the Left. But these past few years, for the first time, I've seen racism within conservatism. I've seen the vile face of Christian fundamentalism.

I long sat on the fence between libertarians and conservatives, paying membership fees to groups from both sides. But after 15 years as a registered Republican, I grew so disgusted that last year I re-registered Libertarian.

These past few years, "conservatives" have come to resemble the PC Left. Now, "conservatives" are booing liberals off stage on campuses. "Conservaties" are engaging in the same character assasination that the PC Left has done against it enemies. "Conservatives" are demonizing anyone who falls outside the pro-war Party line (even fellow conservatives), same as the PC Left demonized their "deviationists".

No, I'm not a Muslim. But after seeing all the foaming and frothing from these PC "conservatives", I've grown very sympathetic to Muslims. I never allowed myself to be bullied by the Left into hating "the white male patriarchy," and I refuse to be bullied by "conservatives" into hating Muslims or Arabs.

"Conservatism" has turned ugly; this is not the conservatism of Reagan, although they use his name. I voted for Bush in 2000, but I won't make that mistake again. I'll vote for whoever the Libertarians nominate (I much prefered Harry Browne to Bush IAE, but I wanted to beat Gore, so I voted for the lesser evil of Bush).

See http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?article_id=32932 and let me know what you think.

I did not vote last election due to the evil of 2 lesser scenario. I could not stand to vote for either of those 2 either!

I'm tired of the Rush Limbaugh view of the 2 party system being the only way....they are bad we are good......etc.......

Yes nothing is black and white today, but I've read the Quran and I know two people who were Muslim and have converted to Christianity and have been put under a Fatwa death sentence by their former Imam.

They are dead set against any Islamization of the US and have stated to me that they hope the rest of the world realize the dangers of Islam.

Far more powerful than Islam is the power of Hollywood. All over the world, people see American TV -- and they want to be like us! For every Spanish speaking immigrant that enters the US, several Latin Americans learn English so they can enjoy our music. I know some Brazilians who traveled to the US to attend a concert. They hate American politics -- but love American music, and Americans!

Whatever the rough spots (some non-English speaking immigrants, some fundamentalist Muslims), the world is learning English and adapting modern Western tech culture. No need to bomb or bribe the world. Goodwill, peace, free trade -- these are our strongest assets.

I think the reason they sell so well is that people think they are a modern art Christmas tree. After all it says "Greetings" on the bottom. Now, if everyone who buys these would just put a tiny star on top, it would look just like one.
