I don't understand the need for a refutation of this.

There is no question that Iraq had WMD's, we had proof of their existence in 1991.

According to the terms of the cease-fire, Iraq was supposed to destroy all chemical and biological weapons in its possession. The Iraqi government has been unable (or unwilling) to provide any record or evidence documenting their compliance.

Everything has an ending, and after so many years of waiting, the time of waiting ended, and the time of war began.
