Honestly, I still haven't figured out what the hell a blog is exactly.
I think its just some guy's rantings that some people feel obliged to read. That is, in fact, the dictionary definition. Of course, some rantings may actually be worth one's time.

Interesting how DU is shadowing us, but definitely keeping their distance:

Thanks for the heads up!

Mr. Hewitt, putting DU in the same sentence with FR is like putting the Bad News Bears in the same league with the Yankees. A non-sequitor if you ask me.

DU. I'll give 'em credit, they're hanging in there but they are not even remotely in the same league as FR. It's like the difference between listening (okay, attempting to listen) to Gephardt or listening to W.

Dem Underground is a reflection of why the Democrats are done for - they have no ideas and cannot defend their ideology. They are the progeny of the 60's, "If it feels good, do it, mahn," way of life. Trouble is for these people is they are headless (leaderless), and without internal motivation or compass. So how are they going to find their way out of this confinement before they suffocate on their own gaseous exhalations? It takes a true leader like W to show them: 1) they can't get what they want unless they change their wants; 2) they can change their wants; 3) if they'll stand on their own two feet and follow a good leader, they'll have a lot happier feelings. If they feel good, they'll do what makes them continue to feel good (in this case, follow a good leader). I believe that's the only track inside their beanies and "hearts."
I love this:
Howard Dean is reported to be investing heavily in controlling web-spin, but the blogs cannot be controlled in any meaningful way.
AMEN!
