DERBY, Conn. - Call it puppy love.

Two dogs - Tatiana Anjelica and Tyson Beckford Spak - exchanged vows and slobbery kisses Sunday on the Derby Green. The bride even wore a little garter, slipped over her paw.

The bridegroom wore a top hat and tuxedo.

I wonder how long before "hubby" finds himself in the "dog house".

How quaint. I can't believe the time some people have on their hands! Did they have attendants, too?

I think it's odd too, however, anyone willing to go to those lengths for their dogs must treat their pets very well. Anyone who treats animals well can't be all bad.

I can just see a new legal field in the area of canine divorce.

We are waiting for Rex and Prince to form a matrimonial bond
of everlasting love. With a Canadian Bishop officiating.

Ping! I always thought one of the main advantages of not being human is not having to go through a degrading experience like this...

I agree!

I think we are drawn to dogs because they are the uninhibited creatures we might be if we weren't certain we knew better.

They fight for honor at the first challenge, make love without moral restraint and they do not for all their instincts appear to foresee or dwell on their own death.
