Hillary needs to be defeated in 2006. If she is reelected for a second senatorial term, and is then tapped to be the Presidential nominee for 2008, it's quite possible that Bill Clinton could run to take her place in the U.S. Senate. Gov. Pataki's present term of office ends January 1, 2007. If he is defeated by a Democrat in 2006, or decides not to run for a 4th term, a Democrat could be controlling the Governor's Mansion and appoint Bill Clinton to replace his wife. And then, Bill Clinton could run for that office in any special election. Chances are he'd win because of New York City.
