[history]
"Ease up Robert.
"He was, and is, after all, just a rookie cop doing what cops do at night; prowl the streets looking for mischief. And this time he found some.
"It was not his insight or his intelligence or anything else that led him to a garbage Dumpster behind a hillybilly market. He was just in the right place at the right time.

I am glad to see people include God in their writing.

Thanks for posting this! I am proud to be a 'hillbilly', born and raised in Asheville. And I'm glad to hear that some things have not changed...

As a doctor, I'm sure he had options for where he could live and practice medicine. He picked California.I'll bet that Paul performs abortions.

I'm sorry if he's offended, but I'm not changing, and I'm not going to worry about offending values of everyone and anyone. He should have said, "I don't care if he's offended,".

What a Kalifornia Loser.
It's the Ten Commandments, not the Ten Suggestions.

You don't have to be an ass, even if you are a liberal.

Here's the problem. If he was crediting "allah" he probably would have never received that e-mail. Politically correct these days means ignoring the foudation of this great country just to make people feel better.

Shall we tell Paul that we find him offensive?

I regularly visit western North Carolina, and in many ways did a lot of growing up on my grandfather's place near Bryson City. I was just there a few weeks ago. It's one of God's wonder-filled creations. The last time there I did some serious trout fishing up on Snow Bird. Those of you who know the location don't need an explanation. Those who don't....well, I'm not a "journalist" so I can't describe it. I can talk about the rainbow that jumped about 2 feet out of the water when first hooked. Probably a native.
I listened to a couple of talking heads on Fox News doing interviews of the policeman who captured Rudolph and of the mayor of Murphy. Murphy's another of the beautiful spots along the Carolina side of that Mountain Range. It's a fun ride up to Chattanooga from Murphy, passing the Ocoee River. (A fun raft ride if you want one.)
The big city of New York seriously affected the reporters from Fox. The late morning males of Fox are seriously afflicted with overwhelming inanity....sometimes stupid. Their comments were something about folks in Murphy getting their excitement by watching the coffee perk. Them reporters from NEW YORK City totally pegged out the condescenion meter.
It reminded me of old Andy Griffith reruns. The big city guys are talking about how backward Andy is. The problem is that Andy always caught the bad guy that their 'sophisticated' cops never could seem to catch.
One more time it took Mayberry and Andy to get the job done.
