Hillary: Bill's Next Monica Will Be Private Affair

Hillary Clinton said Sunday night that the next time her husband has sex with another woman she will keep it a secret; a decision that gives Bill Clinton virtual carte blanche to carry on extra marital affairs.

During her interview with Barbara Walters, the ABC News star asked, "What if he does something in the future that is similar [to the Lewinsky episode]?"

Mrs. Clinton replied, "You know, that will be between us. And that will be that zone of privacy that I believe in."

"Right now I'm very hopeful and very committed to our marriage and to our relationship," she insisted.

But when Mrs. Clinton was asked whether she trusted her husband, she dodged the question.

"We've really been tried and tested and we are at the point now that we are looking forward," she told Walters. "I hope that we'll grow old together. That's how I look at our future."

Commenting on Mrs. Clinton's response to the "next Monica" question, Democratic strategist Susan Estrich told the Fox News Channel, "I read the New York [tabloids]. I wouldn't want to bet my bank account that he hasn't already done it again."

Then don't run for any office, Mrs. Clinton. One of the things which you seem to be in complete denial about is the impeachment. There were legal reasons to impeach Bill Clinton and the Congress did not impeach him. Pardon me, but this where the trash should be taken out and the Congress did not do it.

If Hillary doesn't run im 2004, I will be surprised. What I am not surprised at is they are doing the same old two step spin.

What is sad about Hillary is that she is in complete denial. I don't know that I completely believe that she believes what she says, though. What really struck me about Hillary is how uncomfortable she always appears.

I am also never watching Fox News again because they lied about Juanita Broadrick being on.

What is sad about Hillary is that she is in complete denial. I don't know that I completely believe that she believes what she says, though.

She's uncomfortable because of the "vast right wing conspiracy" that she knows sees right through her and knows she's flat out lying about everything. She's quite comfortable when it's just her own adoring audience because she knows they're fools and they'll believe her. When someone knows someone is onto them, they do get a little awkward when they lie.

Just saw a clip of Hillary on TV and she called the Bill/Monica thing "a private affair".

Well, if Bill had taken Monica into Hillary's bed, MAYBE it could have been called a "private" affair. But he didn't do that. He used The Oval Office for his/her obscenities and that made it a national affair. And rightly so.
