On Laci, seems like your post could be logical on Laci being finger printed, and background to become or work around school children, so I am sure they have her prints on file, NCIC or per employment.

IIRC, Laci has an assault charge in her background. If she was indeed charged and booked, fingerprints would be on file.

Since the defense is no doubt behind the Amber Frey attacks, it's only a matter of time before they start trashing Laci.

the assault that it was alledged that Laci popped another person, was at age 17 yrs, which would be a juvie record. But yes, still prints would be on file, but the records would be sealed?

Even in the case of teaching, employment in schools, background checks I believe are by law now because of the young teenager slain in Lodi area a couple of years ago by a convicted felon, employed as a janitor at that school. So, yes, defense will try all they can to save their client's life...;o)
